Secret Canyon - Sedona, AZ - Trail Guide to backpacking in the Secret Canyon Wilderness
Secret Canyon - Sedona, AZ
Here's a trail guide to backpack the Secret Canyon Trail, located in the Secret Canyon Wilderness of Sedona, AZ. Secret Canyon is a remote and lightly trafficked out and back hike. It can be done as a day hike or an overnight. It features an arch, waterfall, pine trees and amazing views that Sedona is known for, only without all the people. The long and rough road to access the trailhead is a deterrent for many. You can walk down it to the trailhead, but it's a miserably 7 mile (total) slog with full sun exposure, jeep traffic and lots of ups and downs. However, if you can get there, Secret Canyon is a great hike that offers all the good parts of Sedona only with more solitude.

Wilson Mountain Hike - Sedona, Arizona
Wilson Mountain is the highest point above the beautiful Sedona red rock area in Arizona.
From the top of the mesa there is a magnificent panoramic view of the Oak Creek valley and the many prominent rock formations surrounding Sedona. The trailhead is just north of town, and rises gradually the first two miles, before steep switchbacks take you around to the north side of the mountain where you enter a forest of towering pine, oak, and aspen trees.

Devil’s Bridge Trail - Best hike in Sedona Arizona (Keep Your Daydream)
Add Devil’s Bridge on your hiking list when visiting Sedona, Arizona. This is now one our favorite hikes with gorgeous views and spectacular color. We share 4 things we learned from the hike that might be helpful for you when you visit.
The hike is only .7 miles from the trailhead, but another 1 miles from the parking lot. Round trip from the parking lot was 3.8 miles, but if you have a high clearance vehicle... you can drive on the road and park in a small parking lot at the trailhead. In the end, we actually liked the longer hike, but the drive would have been fun too.

Sedona Arizona | The Most Beautiful Place on Earth?
The city of Sedona, Arizona claims to be The Most Beautiful Place on Earth, and we just had to check it out for ourselves.
Sedona is located about 2 hours North of the Phoenix, Arizona area and has a slightly cooler climate than most of its desert neighbors. It is a land of rustic red sandstone found nowhere else on Earth. Many people even claim that there are many Vortices (plural for vortex) surrounding the city area, and that draws a lot of spiritualists to the area.
Archaeologists believe that Sedona has been inhabited for up to 13,000 years by various tribes of people. Some even settled in the area permanently and build dwellings on the sides of the cliffs. You can visit some of those ancient ruins today.
In this video we set out to visit the following locations:
Downtown Sedona
Bell Rock
Red Rock State Park
Coconino National Forest
Honanki Ruins
Chapel on the Rock
Devil's Bridge
Amitabha Stupa Peace Park

West Fork Trail in Oak Creek Canyon Sedona Arizona
There's a reason the trail along the West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon is the most popular in the 1.8-million-acre Coconino National Forest. Several reasons, actually: grand scenery, towering cliffs, Old West history and the constant burble of the creek as you hike. The trail begins a little more than 3 miles north of Slide Rock State Park, which is about 7 miles north of Sedona.
Coconino National Forest & Sedona ARIZONA!
Sedona was an amazing town! We hiked in the Coconino National Forest and saw some awesome scenery! Tomorrow we will be at the Grand Canyon!
Thanks For Watching!
