Currency
Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:
• banks
• travel agents
• Post Offices
• airports
• major train stations.
It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
Anyone that has any questions, please feel free the comment below and I will answer them for you.

Descending Witness Pass in Castleton - Peak District
A short of our weekender trip around Peak District. We descended the famous Witness Pass. Always better descending it than climbing it.
Supper Club event at YHA Castleton Losehill Hall
We invited 14 outdoor, lifestyle and travel bloggers to YHA Castleton Losehill Hall to promote YHA’s Supper Club.
The event was hosted at YHA Castleton Losehill Hall, perfectly situated in the heart of the Peak District. We were led on a scenic guided tour by two members of the YHA Castleton Losehill Hall team who took us up Losehill and across to Hollins Cross.
We returned to the hostel for Supper Club and board games.
Supper Club is a communal two course meal which encourages hostel guests to share their travelling experiences and meet fellow guests. This is the authentic hostel experience where travellers can bond over a delicious evening meal after a day of adventuring.

Hiking Edale Peak District | Britain Best Walking Destination | England Road Trip Travel Vlog 13
Edale in the Peak District is the start of the Pennine Way and has been voted as Britain best walking destination with thousands of walks available on this 268 mile stretch. This roadtrip travel vlog we stopped at the YHA Edale and did some hiking to Mam Tor, a popular lookout with stunning walks and views of the countryside.
Country pubs with a beer or cider is a must for any traveller in the UK and something the locals love to do. After a long day of trekking you NEED to have some pub food and a drink.

We work online and aim to spread the message of “Earn Less, Live More”, which encourages people to question their definition of success, and to pursue what makes them truly happy instead of chasing only money.
Creating this location independent lifestyle has helped us through depression and given us an incredible opportunity to make our lives more fulfilling. We want others to do the same and join us on this full time travel and digital nomad journey!

Castleton in the Peak District, Derbyshire, UK road bike ride
Welcome to my shinny brand new You Tube channel!
For Christmas 2016 I received a Go Pro action camera and have been itching to use it ever since then. The weather is improving (slightly) in the UK so I have finally been able to get and about and start using the camera.
Here it is my first attempt; a short film of a bike ride, close to where I live, around the beautiful Peak District in Derbyshire in the UK.
Hope you enjoy watching and if you do please Like, Share and/or Subscribe. Any questions/comments welcomed!

Castleton & Peveril Castle Day Trip
Hello lovely people. We (as in me, the boy, the man) went on a little adventure this weekend, exploring Castleton and Peveril Castle. Unfortunately it appeared that at some point on the way our 4 year old transformed into a dinosaur, but the dinosaur had lots of fun and ended up with an ice cream, so it's all good. Hope you enjoy, and I really don't mind if you laugh at my absolute DEATH climbing up that hill. Yargh.

________________________
The Peak District is an upland area in England at the southern end of the Pennines. It is mostly in northern Derbyshire, but also includes parts of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire. An area of great diversity, it is mostly split into the Dark Peak, where most of the moorland is found and the geology is gritstone, and the limestone area of the White Peak.
The Peak District National Park became the first national park in the United Kingdom in 1951. With its proximity to the cities of Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby and Sheffield, and access by road and rail, it attracts millions of visitors every year.
Inhabited from the Mesolithic era, evidence exists from the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages. Settled by the Romans and Anglo-Saxons, the area remained largely agricultural and mining grew in importance in the medieval era. Richard Arkwright built his cotton mills at the start of the Industrial Revolution. Quarrying became important as mining declined. Tourism grew after the advent of the railways, visitors attracted by the landscape, spa towns at Buxton and Matlock Bath, Castleton's show caves, and Bakewell, the national park's only town.
Tourism remains important for its towns and villages and their varied attractions, country houses and heritage sites. Outside the towns, walking on the extensive network of public footpaths, cycle trails, rock climbing and caving are popular pursuits.
