British Land's Whiteley Shopping Centre opens
On Thursday, the UK's newest shopping centre opened it's doors. Hundreds of shoppers watched the opening ceremony at British Land and USS's £84m development, Whiteley, between Southampton and Portsmouth in Hampshire.

We were tasked with capturing the launch of Whitely Shopping, the new £84 million shopping centre in Fareham.
Our team spent two days on site. The first putting together a timelapse video covering the 3 years of the build, the BF&M edit suite on tour! The second day was spent capturing the action taking place on the opening day, and lots of it, along with interviews from key people involved. We then had the task of putting the video together overnight in order for the video to be shared across social media channels the following day, the aim being to encourage more visitors over the opening weekend. The operation was a success with an additional 20,000 weekend visitors over the expected number. Phew, and the team returned to Bristol for a well earned rest!
