Morocco holiday specialist tour
A special bike ride through Morocco starting from Tangier via chefchiuen towards mythical fes! From there we carry on to Merzouga via middle atlas and Errachidia crossing the Ziz valley and its palm grove to end up in the ancient town of Erfoud. A day trip to Erg Chebbi culminating in Merzouga's top dunes , camping under the star lit sky is a must. Heading back to Tinrhir via Goulmim, Ait hanni , Tadighoust to finally drive across the magic Todrha gorges is inevitably imposed if you seek for real adventure to finally spend the following night in Dades . Another great day through sinuous mountains, gorges and orchards in the oriental high atlas via Msemrir and Tamtetoucht before we reach I milchil closes up a tremendous day of amazing encounters! From there we head back to the one thousands casbah routes parallel to djebel Sarhro , iuarzazate, agdez, Zagora all the way including Draa valley. We cross the barren landscapes of Foum Zguid to Taznakht and back to AiT ben Haddou kasbah to finally climb up to Tichka pass down to Marrakech ...souks, sites and shows await for you .
Morocco, Maroc, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou
Lawrence d'Arabie (1962)
Sodome et Gomorrhe (1962)
L'Homme qui voulut être roi (1975)
Bandits, bandits (1981)
Le Diamant du Nil (1985)
Tuer n'est pas jouer (1987)
La Dernière Tentation du Christ (1988)
Un thé au Sahara (1990)
Kundun (1997)
La Momie (1999)
Gladiator (2000)
Alexandre (2004)
Babel (2006)

Aït Benhaddou (Berber: Ath Benhadu, Arabic: آيت بن حدّو) is a fortified city, or ksar, along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. It is situated in Souss-Massa-Drâa on a hill along the Ounila River and is known for its kasbahs, although they take damage with each rainstorm. Most of the town's inhabitants now live in a more modern village at the other side of the river; however, eight families still live within the ksar.
Aït Benhaddou has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987[1] and several films have been shot there, including;
Sodom And Gomorrah (1963)
The Man Who Would Be King (film) (1975)
The Message (film) (1976)
Jesus of Nazareth (1977)
Time Bandits (1981)
Marco Polo (1982)
The Jewel of the Nile (1985)
The Living Daylights (1987)
The Last Temptation of Christ (1988)
The Sheltering Sky (1990)
Kundun (1997)
The Mummy (1999)
Gladiator (2000)
Alexander (2004)
Kingdom of Heaven (2005)
Prince of Persia (2010)

Morocco best of: Marrakesh, Ait ben haddou, Merzouga, Essaouira, Chefchaouen...
Morocco is a great and easy country to travel. I was already the second time in Morocco. The first time in 2014 I was only in Marrakesh and Merzouga. The trip to the desert was great, but we've one complete day in the bus to get there and one complete day back. Too much for a short trip :)
2017 I had more time to travel. First stop was Marrakesh. It's a nice city, but it's full of tourists and guides. I didn't like it very much and I left very fast.
Next stop was Imlil. I left most of my luggage in a guest house and climbed Mount Toubkal. You don't need a guide for this hike. Although everybody in the village recommends a guide ;-)
You can buy water all the hill up. On the peak you can rent a bed or room. In peak season better make a reservation. I slept in my tent. During the night it was really cold. Be prepared :D Most of the people wake up very early and go to the peak to watch the sunrise.
To get from Imlil to Aït-Ben-Haddou I had to take several different taxis and buses and hitchhike some parts. There's is a Kasbah in Aït-Ben-Haddou. Very nice place. Films like Gladiator or Game of Thrones were filmed here.
Tinghir, a city near Todgha gorges, you can reach easy by taxi. You have just to wait until it's full. Don't stay in Tinghir, better go up close to the gorges. I stayed in Dar Aicha. I can recommend it. On the way I met Andrea and we explored the gorge together.
After the gorge I took the night bus to Agadir. Agadir has some nice beaches, very good for tourists. But there's not much to see. I left after one day :D
I stayed for five days in Moknari. It's a berber village, where only one big family lives. There are thousands of surf camps along the coast. I decided for this one, because you will get a special experience in this village. It's very family. We played footbal together with Hichams cousins and did some other activities like sand boarding or visited paradise valley.
After all the activities I relaxed in Essaouira where I met Andrea again. This city was my favourite city. It's a small city, very relaxing. You can find many places just to sit down and chill. Or you can go to the beach or the harbour and watch the fisher men.
Unfortunatelly all tickets for the night buses were sold. So I had to drive the whole day in a bus and a train to get to Fes. Fes has very narrow streets and you don't have many possibilities to sit down somewhere. My suggestion is not to stay longer than one day there :D
My last station was Chefchaouen. It's a must go place. The city is also called The Blue Pearl. Take a look at the pictures and you will know why :D For sun set don't miss to go on the hill nearby. For a good place you should come early. It got very full :D
If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask in the comments :)

Desert tours from Marrakech to Merzouga dunes
The Merzouga dunes are one of the most beautiful places in the world. The first phase of the climb is rather hard but once at the peak, your happiness is total. The slope on the other side is much gentler and a pleasure to walk on, but a few meters from the top, things start to get tougher and the slope becomes a lot steeper. The best way to reach the top is to continue on all fours, using your hand to clutch the sand and hoist yourself upword. The view is quite something and the whole place is great for meditation. After a well-deserved rest watching the sunset on the surrounding landscape, start back down towards the bivouac before it gets completely dark the awestruk visitor will find a good meal waiting there, followed up by berber songs and that really must be seen. You can go to dunes by 4 by 4.
