Shanghai's Largest and Most Oppulant Shopping Mall: Global Harbor
This is the Global Harbor mall in the Putuo district of Shanghai just after it first opened. It is the largest mall in Shanghai, covering 480,000 square meters, and It is part of a growing trend of opulent, luxury malls that are appearing all around China. It is full of western stores like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Starbucks, H&A, and Gucci. Apparently, it was designed to look like a ship, but except for the paintings of such I didn't get that impression.
Shanghai, The City Tour
This video follows us on our October 14, 2011 tour of Shanghai. Come along with us,
First we once again walk along the Bund esplanade beside the Huangpu River. Next we visit a silk factory-showroom. Our 3rd stop is an interesting local market. After lunch we go to the Old Town, aka Chinatown. Not only is it beautiful, it represents probably the best known quaint area left in this 21st Century sophisticated metropolis. We return to this area for a typically interesting/impressive Chinese dinner. Our day ends with striking video of night time Shanghai enroute to a performance of the world renown Chinese Acrobats.

Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港; literally: Fragrant Harbour), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary of the South China Sea.[11] Hong Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour.[12] It has a total area of 2,754 km2 and shares its northern border with the Guangdong Province of Mainland China. With 7.2 million residents of various nationalities,[note 1] Hong Kong is the world's fourth most densely populated sovereign state or territory.
After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong was later occupied by Japan during the Second World War until British control resumed in 1945. In the early 1980s, negotiations between the United Kingdom and China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration, which paved way for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong in 1997, when the territory became a Special Administrative Region of China with a high degree of autonomy[13] under the principle of one country, two systems.[14][15]
Hong Kong is among the world's most significant financial centres,[16] and the world's number one tourist destination city.[17] Its service sector dominated economy is characterised by free trade and low taxation, and has been regarded as one of the world's most laissez-faire economic policies. In fact, the territory has consistently been listed as the freest market economy in the world.[18] While Hong Kong ranks within the top 10 in GDP (PPP) per capita, it also suffers from severe income inequality and world's most unaffordable housing. As the 44th-largest economy (in purchasing power parity terms) in the world,[19] Hong Kong issues the world's 13th most traded currency, the Hong Kong dollar.[20]
The Hong Kong Basic Law is its quasi-constitution which empowers the region to develop relations and make agreements directly with foreign states and regions, as well as international organizations, in a broad range of appropriate fields.[21] It is an independent member of numerous international organizations, the IMF, WTO, APEC, FIFA and International Olympic Committee, to list a few.
Hong Kong is a centre of modern architecture, and has the largest number of high-rises than any other urban agglomeration in the world.[22][23] Hong Kong has a highly developed public transportation network covering 90% of the population, and the highest in the world.[24][25] Air pollution remains a serious problem.[26][27] Loose emissions standards have resulted in a high level of atmospheric particulates.[28] However, Hong Kong people enjoy one of the longest life expectancies in the worl

Nanjing City in China, china online tour
for free online tour please subscribe to lookation channel via below link:
Nanjing (About this soundlisten), formerly romanized as Nanking and Nankin,[5] is the capital of Jiangsu province of the People's Republic of China and the second largest city in the East China region,[b] with an administrative area of 6,600 km2 (2,500 sq mi) and a total population of 8,270,500 as of 2016.[6] The inner area of Nanjing enclosed by the city wall is Nanjing City (南京城), with an area of 55 km2 (21 sq mi), while the Nanjing Metropolitan Region includes surrounding cities and areas, covering over 60,000 km2 (23,000 sq mi), with a population of over 30 million.
Situated in the Yangtze River Delta region, Nanjing has a prominent place in Chinese history and culture, having served as the capital of various Chinese dynasties, kingdoms and republican governments dating from the 3rd century to 1949,[7] and has thus long been a major center of culture, education, research, politics, economy, transport networks and tourism, being the home to one of the world's largest inland ports. The city is also one of the fifteen sub-provincial cities in the People's Republic of China's administrative structure,[8] enjoying jurisdictional and economic autonomy only slightly less than that of a province.[9] Nanjing has been ranked seventh in the evaluation of Cities with Strongest Comprehensive Strength issued by the National Statistics Bureau, and second in the evaluation of cities with most sustainable development potential in the Yangtze River Delta. It has also been awarded the title of 2008 Habitat Scroll of Honor of China, Special UN Habitat Scroll of Honor Award and National Civilized City.[10] Nanjing boasts many high-quality universities and research institutes, with the number of universities listed in 100 National Key Universities ranking third, including Nanjing University which has a long history and is among the world top 10 universities ranked by Nature Index.[11] The ratio of college students to total population ranks No.1 among large cities nationwide. Nanjing is one of the top three Chinese scientific research centers, according to the Nature Index,[12] especially strong in the chemical sciences.
Nanjing, one of the nation's most important cities for over a thousand years, is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been one of the world's largest cities, enjoying peace and prosperity despite wars and disasters.[13][14][15][16] Nanjing served as the capital of Eastern Wu (229–280), one of the three major states in the Three Kingdoms period; the Eastern Jin and each of the Southern dynasties (Liu Song, Southern Qi, Liang and Chen), which successively ruled southern China from 317–589; the Southern Tang (937–75), one of the Ten Kingdoms; the Ming dynasty when, for the first time, all of China was ruled from the city (1368–1421);[17] and the Republic of China (1927–37, 1946–49) prior to its flight to Taiwan during the Chinese Civil War.[18] The city also served as the seat of the rebel Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (1853–64) and the Japanese puppet regime of Wang Jingwei (1940–45) during the Second Sino-Japanese War. It suffered severe atrocities in both conflicts, including the Nanjing Massacre.
Nanjing has served as the capital city of Jiangsu province since the establishment of the People's Republic of China. It boasts many important heritage sites, including the Presidential Palace and Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. Nanjing is famous for human historical landscapes, mountains and waters such as Fuzimiao, Ming Palace, Chaotian Palace, Porcelain Tower, Drum Tower, Stone City, City Wall, Qinhuai River, Xuanwu Lake and Purple Mountain. Key cultural facilities include Nanjing Library, Nanjing Museum and Nanjing Art Museum.
Disney Adds Another Item To Your Bucket List: Shanghai Disneyland
Shanghai Disneyland is officially open for business as the House of Mouse tries to take advantage of the huge Chinese market.
It's one of Disney's biggest projects to date, with grounds that span nearly a thousand acres. And the castle at the center of it all is its tallest yet at about 197 feet.
There's no iconic Main Street as you walk into Shanghai Disney, like there is in other Disney parks. But Shanghai Disney does have its own set of unique attractions, like the Tron: Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster.
Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger says this project is 17 years in the making for him as he lobbied with Chinese officials to make the park happen.
Disney wound up with only a 43 percent stake in the park, with a Chinese state-owned company holding the rest.
But there's still a lot to be had from Disney's investment there. The Guardian reports 330 million people live within a three-hour drive of the park, and an estimated 10 million people will visit each year. But some analysts say that number could be as high as 50 million.
And there's the added benefit of the park increasing interest for Disney's already monster-sized movie franchises.

China's World's longest High-Speed Rail Route Opens
China's World's longest High-speed Rail Route Opens
China Inaugurated World's longest High-speed Rail Route between Beijing to Guangzhou
26th December 2012 route linking its capital Beijing with the southern metropolis of Guangzhou, covering a distance of 2,298 kilometres. Running at an average speed of 300 kilometres per hour, the bullet train will save nearly 12 hours by
bringing down the travel time between Beijing and Guangzhou from more than 20 hours to around eight.
With the opening of the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railroad, China now has a network of more than 9,300 kilometres of operating high-speed railways.
This is the longest high speed network China launched after the Beijing-Shanghai Bullet train last year, which brought down travel time to around five hours, covering over 1300 kilometres distance between two of China's largest cities.
The new train covers Beijing with China's most industrialised province Guangdong which houses top developed cities like Guangzhou close to Hong Kong and Maccau.
The line is expected to be extended to Hong Kong by 2015.
Designed to support a maximum speed of 350 kilometres per hour, the route connects five provinces and has 35 stops in major cities, including Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Wuhan and Changsha.
Zhao Chunlei, a senior official in charge of transportation of the Railway Ministry said tickets of the train on this route are priced to meet the demands of different people, and fares will fluctuate under market forces.
China's high-speed rail network was established in 2007, but has fast become the world's largest with 8,358 kilometres of track at the end of 2010. That is expected to almost double to 16,000 kilometres by 2020.
The network, however, has been plagued by graft and safety scandals, most notably a deadly bullet traincollision in July 2011 that killed 40 people and sparked a public outrage.
New high-speed train passes central China
China's has officially opened the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway line, the longest in the world, on Wednesday.
The high-speed line stretches 2,298-kilometres. With trains running at an average speed of 300 kilometres per hour, the travel time from Beijing to Guangzhou has been slashed to just eight hours,
down from 22 hours.

Weired/Bizarre Facts About China in Hindi/Urdu ! चीन की अजीब बातें ! Shocking facts,interesting facts.
China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a unitary sovereign state in East Asia and the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.381 billion.[16] Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometres (3.7 million square miles), it is the world's second-largest state by land area[17] and third- or fourth-largest by total area.[i] Governed by the Communist Party of China,[18] it exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces, five autonomous regions, four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Chongqing) and the Special Administrative Regions Hong Kong and Macau, also claiming sovereignty over Taiwan. China is a great power and a major regional power within Asia, and has been characterized as a potential superpower.[19][20]
China emerged as one of the world's earliest civilizations in the fertile basin of the Yellow River in the North China Plain. For millennia, China's political system was based on hereditary monarchies, or dynasties, beginning with the semi-legendary Xia dynasty. Since then, China has then expanded, fractured, and re-unified numerous times. In 1912, the Republic of China (ROC) replaced the last dynasty and ruled the Chinese mainland until 1949, when it was defeated by the communist People's Liberation Army in the Chinese Civil War. The Communist Party established the People's Republic of China in Beijing on 1 October 1949, while the ROC government retreated to Taiwan with its present de facto temporary capital in Taipei. Both the ROC and PRC continue to claim to be the legitimate government of all China, though the latter has more recognition in the world and controls more territory.
Since the introduction of economic reforms in 1978, China has become one of the world's fastest-growing major economies. As of 2016, it is the world's second-largest economy by nominal GDP and largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). China is also the world's largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods.[21] China is a recognized nuclear weapons state and has the world's largest standing army and second-largest defense budget.[22][23] The PRC is a member of the United Nations, as it replaced the ROC as a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council in 1971. China is also a member of numerous formal and informal multilateral organizations, including the WTO, APEC, BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the BCIM and the G-20

The English name China is first attested in Richard Eden's 1555 translation[j] of the 1516 journal of the Portuguese explorer Duarte Barbosa.[k][29] The demonym, that is, the name for the people, and adjectival form Chinese developed later on the model of Portuguese chinês and French chinois.[30][l] Portuguese China is thought to derive from Persian Chīn (چین), and perhaps ultimately from Sanskrit Cīna (चीन).[32] Cīna was first used in early Hindu scripture, including the Mahābhārata (5th century bce) and the Laws of Manu (2nd century bce).[33] The traditional theory, proposed in the 17th century by Martino Martini[34] and supported by many later scholars, is that the word China and its earlier related forms are ultimately derived from the state of Qin (秦, Old Chinese: *Dzin),[35] the westernmost of the Chinese states during the Zhou dynasty which unified China to form the Qin dynasty.[36] There are, however, other suggestions for the derivation of China.[33]
The official name of the modern state is the People's Republic of China (Chinese: 中华人民共和国; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Rénmín Gònghéguó). The shorter form is China Zhōngguó (中国), from zhōng (central or middle) and guó (state, nation-state),[24][m] a term which developed under the Zhou Dynasty in reference to its royal demesne.

China is also a member of numerous formal and informal multilateral organizations, including the WTO, APEC, BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the BCIM and the G-20.
