1st November of 1954 Great Mosque is a mosque in the city of Batna, Algeria. The mosque is located in the street bound to the city of Biskra. It was constructed as an installation to celebrate Islam. The project was initially originated back in 1980. With maximum capacity of 30,000 worshipers and area size of 42,000 square meters, it is currently the largest mosque in Algeria.

Centuries later, Timgad still represents the embodiment of Roman urban planning.

Chelia :
Jebel Chélia is a mountain located in the east of Algeria,on the border of the wilaya of Batna and the wilaya of Khenchela it is the second highest peak in Algeria Ras Kelthoum after Mount Tahat in the Hoggar with 2,328 meters above sea level.Mount Chelia is known for containing different types of pine trees;in addition many specialists highlight the mountain for developing seasonal tourism in the region (skiing, hiking, trekking, climbing, etc.) However, the means have so far not been put in place to exploit these potentialities, without forgetting that Chelia It is a historical landmark that witnessed a number of events including the outbreak of the Algerian revolution and the killing of the martyr Mustafa Ben Bouleid.
Ghoufi :
Ghoufi is an archaeological site located in the south of the Aures in the commune of Ghassira in the wilaya of Batna bordering the city of Biskra,In the past centuries, the inhabitants built houses in these canyons that are still visible today, and the elders of Goufi recall that their ancient ancestors built these houses to conserve them and shelter them during the wars,they lived on agriculture such as palm trees, olives and livestock, especially goats,then they started seeking modern life after the independence of Algeria in 1962 but its balconies were sufficient to transform the abandoned village to a touristic site with the participation of women who excelled in weaving wool and making beautiful traditional Beddings as souvenires for foreigner.
The houses in Ghoufi's balconies meet beautifully and are close to one another, overlooking the white valley Ighzar Amalal This decoration blends with a breathtaking view that attracts wisiters from all over the world.
Belezma national park:
The Belzma National Park in Batna is an area of 26,250 hectares and is one of the ten most important national parks in Algeria. Created on November 13, 1984, it contains 395 species of animals, including 18 species of mammals, 111 species of birds, 40 protected species, 19 species of reptiles, five species of amphibians, 241 species of invertebrates and two species of fish, some of which were in danger of extenction. During the years before the establishment of the nation park, It is also known for its richness with a varied vegetation cover. There were 510 species of plants, of which 11 are protected such as the Atlantic cedars and the pine trees
it also includes a series of mountains(Tichaw,Borjom,Chlaalaa ,Thouger..)plains and various plateaus that contributes to the ecological diversity and have stands up to the danger of desertification adjacent to it , which is threatened by many dangers like the disappearance of Atlantic cedar trees .
Medracen:
Medracen Is an Amazigh mausoleum dating back to the 3rd century BC. It is located on the territory of the municipality of Boumia, in the province of Batna;It is a giant dome that has a diameter of almost 60 meters and it is about 20 meters high.It is considered the oldest preserved royal mausoleum in North Africa. According to Medieval historians, its name is derived from the King of Numidia.
Over the years, the mausoleum witnessed a major deterioration and even the pillars of the building were temporarily eroded by rain. Climatic conditions and theft caused serious damage to it along the lines of cracks and the collapse of parts of the dome and walls, which led to the leakage of rainwater inside the building which classifiesit among the 100 most endangered monuments
on the planet.
The mausoleum is easily accessible by car because it is right on the main road.
