A walk along the Aber Falls path
Join me as I walk to Aber Falls, one of Wales' most spectacular waterfalls.
This walk starts from the car park at Bont Newydd, just south of the village of Abergwyngregyn, off the A55. This is a very easy walk, a little over 2 miles long, on a well marked path. After reaching the waterfall, retrace your route back to the car park.

This video shows part of a very short trek to one of Wales's most beautiful waterfalls. Aber Falls are situated just off the main A55 trunk road behind the quiet village of Abergwyngregyn. Although this trek is probably best left for when your short on time or just for the exercise don't underestimate its potential. The valley of the Coedydd National Nature Reserve is a hidden gem with an abundance of wildlife and terrific woodland and mountain scenery.

Aber Falls is a waterfall located about two miles south of the village of Abergwyngregyn, Gwynedd, Wales. The waterfall is formed as the Afon Goch plunges about 120 feet over a sill of igneous rock in the foothills of the Carneddau range.
The tour is a first person perspective of the waterfall area and the beautiful surroundings. It takes you from the waterfall, highlighting the stunning scenery of the fall, the river and the views from higher up the mountain.

Aber Falls (Welsh: Rhaeadr Fawr) is a waterfall located about two miles (3 km) south of the village of Abergwyngregyn, Gwynedd, Wales.
The waterfall is formed as the Afon Goch plunges about 120 feet (37 m) over a sill of igneous rock in the foothills of the Carneddau range.
Two tributaries merge; the enlarged stream is known as Afon Rhaeadr Fawr; from the road bridge, Bont Newydd (New Bridge), the name becomes Afon Aber.

It is an amazing, picturesque and breathtaking scenery. Nice lovely gentle uphill walk with great views on the way to the fantastic waterfall.
People had pushed prams and wheelchairs to the falls so it's pram/wheelchair accessible. Lovely grassy areas near the falls for resting or picnics.

Aber Falls, in the village of Abergwyngregyn, is a waterfall well known as a stunning destination in the Snowdonia National Park. Here in the village of Aber we are pleased to be able to welcome 50,000 visitors a year to take the walk up to Aber Falls and beyond into the Carneddau. Some drive up and take advantage of one of the two car parks we run (just £2 a day and all funds go to improving amenities in the village), others park in the free car park at the bottom of the village and walk up. Taking this option means you walk past Ty Pwmp, which houses an exhibition of the history of Aber and the Princes of Gwynedd who had a court here.

Six Shropshire Summits Challenge Walk 2014
Six Shropshire Summits Challenge Walk 2014 held on Saturday 14th June 2014
Organised by West Midlands Fire Service Mountaineering Club
The walk is a linear 37 miles and takes in Corndon Hill, Stiperstones, Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc, Brown Clee & Titterstone Clee.
This video was shot at the checkpoint on Brown Clee and includes almost all of the walkers who came through this checkpoint.
