Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on YouTube, such as: +Casey Neistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown, and any other talented travel vloggers that YouTube’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with ;)

Sri Lanka, Scenic Tain (Pinnawalla, Kandy, Hatton, Ella then Colombo)
This was a trip that got planned just a couple of days before it starts. The trip was from Saudi to Colombo Sri Lanka.
We arrived later at night in Colombo we took an Uber to Pinnawalla (where we saw the Elephants roaming the small village), then we took a tok-tok all the way to Kandy (spend 2 days, very nice city, lots of site seeing and some cool near by hikes (Sigiriya)) we then took the train to Hatton (which is a village near Adam’s peak) we arrived in the middle of the day, we had a big meal then we took a nap before the night hike to Adam’s Peak. After Adam’s Peak and Hatton, we took the scenic train to Ella. Ella is small little town that is full of adventures and outdoors activities (rivers, waterfalls, hikes etc...). We spent two days in Ella and then took a private car all the way back to Colombo.
Overall this trip was amazing almost everything went smoothly and as planned. However, I would say the trip might be a little difficult for families or people who like to just chill in the city).
[S2 - Eps. 13] Into the wild! - El Cabo Raso, Argentina
In this episode I'm riding from Puerto Piramides on Peninsula Valdes to El Cabo Raso. On the way I stop at Gaiman, which was a Welsh settlement, to have some welsh cakes and I visit Punta Tombo - to see thousands of penguins!
But the ultimate part was reaching El Cabo Raso. 12 years ago, I family started rebuilding the ruins there to a house, guesthouse, camping ground and several cabanas. A remote place without telephone reception, internet and a magnificent road to ride in order to reach it. What a FANTASTIC day!

Tamil King Raja Raja Chola's Bathtub Discovered - Thanjavur, India

Website....................
During my visit to Thanjavur, I stumbled on something very special: Raja Raja Cholan's ceremonial bathtub. It is almost 10 feet long, made out of a single rock. Raja Raja Chola lived around 1000 A.D, so this bathtub was carved a thousand years ago.
Some excellent stone cutting techniques both outside and inside. A perfect rectangle at the top with straight corners. And the inside has been carved out to make it very smooth and has no rough edges. This must have been carefully created so that the King doesn't get a cut or a bruise when he is taking a bath.
Even the outside is shaped and polished so that there are no rough corners. All the edges are well rounded. So we are looking at a monolothic bathtub made over a 1000 years ago. According to historians this must have been carved with a chisel and a hammer, but I think they must have used some advanced technology and techniques.
It is definitely a bathtub, because you can even see a drain hole to get the water out. The locals told me that this was used by King Raja Raja Chola on special occasions. The bathtub would be filled with water and special perfumes will be added. Exotic flowers would also be placed in the water to increase the fragrance. The king would then take a ceremonious bath, before going inside the temple's main chamber.
Please visit for interesting and intriguing places on the planet.

Meenakshi Temple Madurai India, Ancient Hindu Architecture *HD*
Madurai, Tamilnadu, India : Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple or Meenakshi Amman Temple or Tiru-alavai is a historic Hindu temple located in the south side of river Vaigai in the temple city of Madurai. It is dedicated to Parvati who is known as Meenakshi and her consort, Shiva, named here as Sundareswarar (beautiful deity). The temple forms the heart and lifeline of the 2500 year old city of Madurai. The complex houses 14 gopurams (gateway towers) ranging from 45-50m in height, the tallest being the southern tower, 51.9 metres (170 ft) high, and two golden sculptured vimana (shrine) over sanctum of the main deities
There is an estimated 33,000 sculptures in the temple and it was in the list of top 30 nominees of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The temple is the geographic and ritual center of the ancient city of Madurai and one of the largest temple complexes in Tamil Nadu. The temple complex is divided into a number of concentric quadrangular enclosures contained by high masonary walls. It is one of the few temples in Tamil Nadu to have four entrances facing four directions. Vishwantha Nayaka allegedly redesigned the city of Madurai in accordance with the principles laid down by Shilpa Shastras(Sanskrit: śilpa śāstra, also anglicized as silpa sastra meaning rules of architecture) relevant to urban planning. The city was laid out in the shape of square with a series of concentric streets culminating from the temple. These squares continue to retain their traditional names, Aadi, Chittirai, Avani-moola and Masi streets, corresponding to Tamil month names. Ancient Tamil classics mention that the temple was the center of the city and the streets happened to be radiating out like lotus and its petals. The temple prakarams(outer precincts of a temple) and streets accommodate an elobrate festival calendar in which dramatic processions circumabulate the shrines at varying distances from the centre. The vehicles used in processions are progressively more massive the further they travel from the centre. The complex is in around 45 acres (180,000 m2)
Monuments at Pattadakal and Aihole, Karnataka, India in 4K (Ultra HD)
Pattadakal was capital of the Chalukya dynasty of Karnataka in Southern India between the 6th and 8th centuries.
It is inscribed on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites, quote: Pattadakal, in Karnataka, represents the high point of an eclectic art which, in the 7th and 8th centuries under the Chalukya dynasty, achieved a harmonious blend of architectural forms from northern and southern India. An impressive series of nine Hindu temples, as well as a Jain sanctuary, can be seen there.
Recorded February 2016 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100.

AROUND THE WORLD without visas
You will not surprise anyone with around-the-world travel in the 21st century. People span the globe by land, water and air, on foot and by bicycles, alone and with their families. Generally speaking, any around the world travel is, in fact, a journey home with the longest detour.
Nonsense! Thus, around the world travelers are forced to think of new vehicles – from stilts to a children's scooter, or of new conceptual ideas.
Valery Shanin can not complain about lack of ideas. The professional traveler, writer and journalist, began his first circumnavigation back in 1999. He returned home only in 2002, traveling mostly hitchhiking. On the one hand, he has spent 1080 days for this travel. And on the other – only 280 dollars! This way having made one of the most economical circumnavigations.
Five years later, Valery Shanin had another idea. How about trying to circle the Earth as quickly as possible, by saving time instead of money? How many days would be necessary for this purpose? 108 – such is Valery's answer. After having returned home from such a high-speed expedition, Shanin decided, that the subject of circumnavigations was settled for him.
But how can the traveler stay still at home? And here, a new idea turned out! It came obviously from the former traveling experience, that was often connected with the burdensome procedure of obtaining visas. Communication with the embassy and consulate officials, unfortunately, inevitably saddens any most interesting travel. However, there are countries, visa-free for Russians! So, it is possible to go traveling, without addressing consulates. This is how the project The World without Visas was brought to life.
Valery decided to begin with no less, than with a circumnavigation.
Around the world without visas! - Shanin put forward the loud slogan, and left for Europe, Africa, Middle East, Indochina, South East Asia, Oceania, South America, Carribean islands. 38 countries in 255 days and with no one visit to any consulate.
