Cape Town: Brief Long Street Experience ft Comfort and Itumeleng || Cape Town Vlog || 16.03.2019
The CBD is the heart of Cape Town, and Long Street is its major artery. Running all the way from the Cape Town Convention Centre, cutting through the middle of the CBD, and ending at Kloof Street, Long Street is a major part of the city’s street culture.
During the day the street is a full with people visiting the interesting shops and café that line the street, and when the sun drops behind the mountain the activity intensifies around the street’s many restaurants, bars, and clubs.
If you’re looking to get a headstart on exploring Long Street, then here is a video that gives you a brief thrill of the experience.

NAMIBIA Road Trip From Cape Town! South Africa 2018
It's time for a road trip! And this time things might not go to plan... We're travelling from Cape Town, South Africa to Namibia, driving up the Western Cape.
Our Namibia road trip from Cape Town takes us up the Western Cape and across the border, ending in Windhoek, Namibia. Along the way we stop at Lambert's Bay and Goegap Nature Reserve in South Africa, and Quiver Tree Rest Camp in Namibia. They're beautiful locations and it's a lot of fun, but a few things don't exactly go as planned! It's the craziest road trip I've ever taken but, as they say, bad things come in threes.
This road trip from South Africa is the beginning of our Namibia tour and I can't wait to share that adventure with you! We're going to be seeing all the best parts of Namibia on a full tour of the country, and those travel vlogs will be up soon. Make sure you're subscribed if you don't want to miss my Namibia vlogs and my Cape Town videos when I get back to South Africa.
As always, thanks for watching and thanks for joining me on the Southern Africa series. I can't wait to explore Namibia and share this awesome country with you!

Gordon's Bay Road Trip | Cape Town | South Africa | 2018
Road trip to Gordon's Bay in Cape Town cinematic video.
We took a road trip from central Cape Town to Gordon's Bay. Gordon's Bay is a harbour town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, close to Strand. Above the harbour on the mountainside is a giant anchor and the letters GB. Many think that this stands for Gordon's Bay, but in fact it stands for General Botha which was the original name of the Naval station in the town.

Best Hotel in Cape Town South Africa & Dinner at The Test Kitchen - Drought in Cape Town?
We got to stay at the best hotel in Cape Town - have Dinner at the best restaurant in Cape Town The Test Kitchen at the old biscuit mill. And we got to see what Cape Town really is like during the drought. We enjoyed a quick lunch on signal hill where we watched the paraglider take off from the highest point of signal hill.
We weren’t sure what to expect when we travelled to Cape Town this time around. Would the taps run dry? Will there be a run for water in the grocery stores? None of that happened - but what did happen was that I went through a whole learning process ???? I learned that A) I use to much water back in Austria and B) I actually now save at least 20 min everyday by showering the way I learned on this trip. I learned to turn on the tap for 10 seconds - ⏱ soap up brush teach shampoo head and then shower off for another 10-20 seconds. Added benefit - my skin actually improved by this way of showering (who would have thought). We also learned to collect the grey water (which is the water used to wash ourselves) and utilise this grey water to flush the toilets SMART. Some of these techniques will make their way into our daily lives and in the long run will help nature ????and the environment ????AND save us some ???? People keep asking us is cape town dangerous and I have to say yes and no - its all a question of how aware you are when commuting. I think there is a lot of petty crime when tourists are involved but not really violent crime.

Johannesburg and Soweto || 2019 South Africa Travel Vlog Part One
As part one of our 2019 South Africa Travel Vlog, we visit Johannesburg and Soweto, South Africa. Lebo's Soweto Bicycle Tours was an awesome way to experience Soweto. After our tour we visited downtown Johannesburg and the incredible Sandton mall. I know this video is a bit different than others I've posted, but like I've said before, this channel was created as a platform for me to share my adventures, and visiting South Africa was a pretty big one!

Cape Town Nightscapes
Collection of time-lapses done in and around Cape Town during my first year as an enthusiast photographer. Most of the sequences include an astronomical object (Moon, Sun, Planets, Comets) setting or rising against an interesting foreground scenery.
Music: -- Meat Grinder & Sands of Time.
Many of the sequences were done at the last minute, where I didn't have the time or experience to actually think it through before starting to shoot. I just knew something nice was visible in the sky and tried to capture it as a time lapse to get more experience. I would redo many of them in a better way now if given the chance but that's not how astrophotography works! It was a learning experience and I tried to include as many technical details as I could in the flashing introduction of each sequence. I use mostly prime lenses, so the zooming you see is just a pixel scale zoom, e.g. the image was bigger than the movie frame. Zoom 48% means I fit my 4032x3024 images into a 1920x1080 full HD movie size frame. So 48% is the whole width, 100% is 1 camera pixel = 1 screen pixel when seen in 1080p. Feel free to ask questions in the comments.
Correction:
At 00:21, we can see what I claim to be a plane landing at Fisantekraal airport. Well, it's probably not a plane, the angle of descent is way too steep. That airport is also behind the Durbanville Hills, yet the landing seems to be on our our side. The angle was about right though, that airport is the only one roughly in that direction. Best guess: helicopter landing somewhere in the Northern Suburbs, possibly at the Panorama Hospital.

Cape Town - South Africa (4K Mood Film)
Cape Town sits on South Africa’s Cape Peninsula, where the waters of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans converge. The waterfront is also the gateway to one of the world’s most infamous prisons, Robben Island. Table Mountain is Cape Town’s most beloved landmark. From the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, take a walking trail up the mountain, or take the Cableway for the spectacular ride to the viewing area. Cape Town is one of the world’s great beach cities, take a helicopter flight along the coast to discover it from above. From Green Point, the site of Cape Town’s futuristic stadium, follow the coast and discover one incredible beach after another. Cape Town’s riches don’t end with its beaches, it’s also blessed with some of the best wine country in the world.

Cape Town South Africa Video with a Drive to Cape of Good Hope, Hermanus, Table Mountain
This is a video of a fun time in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa in September, 2011. A driver was hired to lead us on a fun excursion down the coast to the Cape Of Good Hope, some botanical gardens, Stellenbosch in the wine country, whale watching in Hermanus and a fantastic trip up to the top of Table Mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town. HD video was shot on a Panasonic Lumix GH2 in 1080-24P with a Lumix 14-140mm zoom and a Lumix 20mm pancake lens. Was just getting to know this great camera. Looking forward to trying it again sometime!
