Angeles Crest Highway | Los Angeles California
My ride down Angeles Crest Highway. This is my favorite place to ride in the Los Angeles area. ACH also known as California State Route-2, is an East/West two lane highway that runs through Angeles National Forest. The west end is located in La Cañada Flintridge and runs for 66 miles to its east end at state Route-138 near Wrightwood.
Riding through here, is a motorcyclists dream nothing but curvy roads straddling the San Gabriel mountains. It’s best to find a week day for this ride as the weekends can get pretty crowded at times with car and biker groups. My ride was on a Thursday afternoon and as you can see I had the whole place to myself.

Angeles Crest Is Fun But Dangerous Highway If Drivers Get Careless
In many sections along Angeles Crest, there are no second chances – just steep drops where there is little hope of survival after an accident. Tom Wait reports.
Travel Guide for the Car Guy: Angeles Crest Highway in Los Angeles
Hey guys this is the second video in my series, Tour Guide for the Car Guy. In this series I will feature things like car meets, amazing driving roads, museums and plenty more that are accessible at any given time of the year. Im avoiding featuring events that are date specific only because not everyone will be able to get a chance to attend those events when they're in that city. I'm trying to keep it broad enough that when you're visiting a place like Tokyo or Los Angeles, you'd have no problem going to these locations. Does that make sense? lol
I start off with one of my favourite roads in the North America. Angeles Crest located in Los Angeles, California, United States.
I'm no filmmaker or videographer so please bare with me. Any suggestions on improving video entertain please leave in the comments and I will do my best to implicate them into the next video.
Any other locations and suggestion please feel free to contact me as I'd love to feature it in my up coming projects.

High altitude driving at 7,903 feet /2,409 m in Angeles Crest Highway Scenic Byway
High altitude driving at the Angeles Crest Highway Scenic Byway. I'm driving in the summit 7,903 feet (2,409 m) at Dawson Saddle, which makes this road one of the highest in Southern California. The Angeles Crest Highway is a two-lane (one lane of travel in each direction) highway over the San Gabriel Mountains, in Los Angeles County, California. Its route is to/through the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument and the Angeles National Forest. With the exception of a 1,000 feet (300 m)-long section in La Cañada Flintridge, the entire route is part of California State Route 2.

Angeles Crest Highway - Los Angeles - Drone Footage
Early morning Angeles Crest run with the Porsche and BMW folks
This past weekend was a beautiful time to get together with the Pcar crew to get the new year started off right. It was a glorious day with perfect weather.... the air was cold but the sun was warm. Angeles Crest is one of the most iconic roads in the world for car enthusiasts! Check out the run and let me know what you think!
Thanks to Wendy @runrwendy for organizing the entire drive. At the original meet up, approx 40 cars came out and that really made it a nice time to catch up with old faces and meet new ones.
If I wasn't shooting photos, video and setting up all the time, it would be nice to meet and talk with you guys but a man's got to grind.
We started off by taking the backroads which eventually lead to the main ACH road coming back down.
I had hours and hours worth of video but I cut it down as much as I could. Hopefully you guys don't fall asleep too bad when viewing it.
I am still learning!
As always, thank you for the support.
I have a new forum up so you can discuss and plan events easier:
Thanks guys,
Drew

Angeles Crest Highway. Getting close to Pasadena and Glendale.
The Angeles Crest Highway is a two-lane (one lane of travel in each direction) segment of California State Route 2 in the United States. The road is 66 miles (106 km) in length, with its western terminus at the intersection at Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge and its eastern terminus at State Route 138 northeast of Wrightwood. The majority of the route passes through the mountainous terrain located north of the Los Angeles basin. Its alignment passes through the Angeles National Forest in the San Gabriel Mountains. Segments of the road reach altitudes above 7,000 feet (2,100 m), with a summit of 7,903 feet (2,409 m) at the Dawson Saddle, which makes this road one of the highest in Southern California.
