What to do in BUENOS AIRES. Best City in South America? Travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina ????????
What should you do in Buenos Aires, Argentina? Well we visit Buenos Aires for the first time and found some absolutely amazing things to do in the city!
We start things off in the Japanese Gardens (Jardín Japonés)! These gardens are quiet and idyllic and feel like an oasis in the middle of the city, they also happen to be the largest gardens of their type outside of Japan.
Next up was a very famous place in Buenos Aires and must-do while in the city- La Recoleta Cemetery. This is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world and contains the graves of some of the most famous and notable people in Argentinian history.
After this we headed to another super notable place in Recoleta, a very famous bookstore called El Ateneo Grand Splendid. Just like the cemetery, it is considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world- mainly because it’s situated in a former opera house. You can still see where the stage (now a coffee shop), and opera boxes were.
Lastly we head back to the area we stayed in called Palermo Hollywood to grab some drinks and food. Buenos Aires is full of interesting and diverse restaurants, not just asado which you might expect- but also loads of international foods. We found a place called KOI Beer and Dumplings where we had both beer and delicious dumplings.
ABOUT BUENOS AIRES
Buenos Aires is Argentina’s big, cosmopolitan capital city. Its center is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace. Other major attractions include Teatro Colón, a grand 1908 opera house with nearly 2,500 seats, and the modern MALBA museum, displaying Latin American art.

The Best of Buenos Aires ???????? You Need to Visit this City! Things to do and Where to stay.
This is our second video from the beautiful Buenos Aires, Argentina! This week we explore some different areas/neighbourhoods than last week.
To find out more information, check availability and book the InterContinental Buenos Aires click here:
We start things off on a Sunday in the neighbourhood of San Telmo. Sundays are a busy but fun day to visit with a unique and quirky antiques market that takes place in the square. You’ll also find some local crafts and maybe best of all, some amazing Argentine Tango dancing.
We pick things up the next day at our hotel, the InterContinental Buenos Aires ( where we show you our room and some of the fantastic amenities in the hotel. The hotel is in an awesome location, really close to the main square of Buenos Aires so next we head there. The main square is called Plaza de Mayo and is the oldest square in the city.
Later in the video we head to yet another neighbourhood of Buenos Aires called La Boca. In this area you’ll find lots of bright buildings, art, and tango. It’s a really interesting part of the city but felt quite touristy to us.

Breathtaking 9 hour Bus Ride from Chile to Argentina ???? Santiago to Mendoza by Bus
We travelled by bus from Santiago, Chile to Mendoza, Argentina. It was much quicker and about the same price to fly but we heard the bus ride was one of the best in the world, and it did not disappoint. It ended up being one of the most amazing bus rides we’ve ever been on if not one of the most beautiful bus rides in the world.
We travelled with Cata Internacional ( from Santiago to Mendoza. Tickets cost about $30 USD per person, and tickets were booked online. We were able to book the upper level front seats to have the most amazing view- and if you’re going to do this bus ride we’d highly recommend doing the same.
The bus left from South Terminal (Terminal Sur) in the international section. Make sure you are fully checked in before boarding the bus.
The bus ride took about 8-9 hours including a stop at the boarder that took about one hour. We’d heard it can take much longer but we left in the afternoon and it seems most buses leave in the morning or at night. Light snacks including juice, sandwiches and coffee were served on the bus but we’d also recommend packing some additional snacks and some water.
If you’re thinking about taking this bus ride we’d highly recommend it as it’s an absolutely stunning bus ride through the Andes Mountains.

OUR ARGENTINA TRIP STARTS NOW! | Visiting Buenos Aires for 3 Days
Our Argentina trip starts now! The biggest travel and food series we've ever created is kicking off in this travel blog by visiting Buenos Aires for 3 days. Firstly, we highlight our flight from Toronto to Buenos Aires in the dead of winter in Canada arriving in Argentina in mid-summer - a 70 degree weather change!
Our first order of business in Buenos Aires is to grab great local food in Recoleta so we head over to one of favorite restaurants in the city Bodegon Norte to grab a meal consisting of Milanesa, salad, ravioli pasta with a bottle of Argentine wine. We then grab Argentine ice cream (helado) at Rapa Nui including dulce de leche flavour.
We start off day two with breakfast in Buenos Aires at La Biela having cafe con leche with media luna. Afterwards we check out the nicest bookstore in the city, and one of the most beautiful in the world, El Ateneo before grabbing pizza slices at Banchero. We finish the day off visiting Recoleta cemetery one of the most famous attractions in Buenos Aires.
For our last day in Buenos Aires we start off with facturas and coffee for breakfast before heading to Puerto Madero for a stroll and a ship museum. For lunch we have delicious Argentine parrilla (grilled beef) with Malbec wine.
Overall, this was our 3 days itinerary in Buenos Aires. We'll be back again soon!

OUR ARGENTINA TRIP STARTS NOW! | Visiting Buenos Aires for 3 Days:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

LA BOCA BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA [GRAND TOUR OF SOUTH AMERICA] 4K
The latest leg of our South American tour took us to the amazing city of Buenos Aires Argentina.
This week we visit the beautiful city of Buenos Aires in Argentina, we see a truly unexpected visitor, head to La Boca the home of the Tango and visit one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.
Buenos Aires is a top tourist destination, and is known for its preserved Eclectic European architecture and rich cultural life. The day we visited was May 25th Known as Día de la Revolución de Mayo, this holiday is always celebrated on May 25th, regardless of the day of the week. It's the Anniversary of the First Independent Government in Buenos Aires. On this date in1810.
Security was high with roadblocks and armed service men on every corner around the area but little did we know that the helicopter landing was carrying a very important person, infact it was Mauricio Macri, the President of Argentina. He even had time to give us a wave.
La Boca is a popular destination for tourists visiting Argentina, with its colourful houses and pedestrian streets, the Caminito, where tango artists perform and tango-related memorabilia is sold.
A multitude of market stalls, arts and crafts, small boutiques and shops line the coulorful vibrant walkways. There's is a bohemian feel about La Boca and it's one you want to keep, a beautiful place where culture is the outright winner of this match. You could literally spend all day here, it's warmth and vitality take you to a different era, a magical experience that everyone visiting Buenos Aires must see.
Finally, with each incarnation since its inception in 1919—first as a performing arts theater, then as a cinema, and now a bookstore—the El Ateneo Grand Splendid In 2019 was named the world's most beautiful bookstore by the National Geographic.

The Best of Mendoza City ???????? Empanada Feast! Argentina's Best Empanadas. Mendoza City Travel Guide
This we’re exploring the city of Mendoza in Argentina! To start things off we headed to the edge of town to find a great viewpoint and a monument called Monumento al Ejército de Los Andes. We walked up the top of the hill on a hot day, it’s not too difficult of a walk but can get quite hot in the sun!
This video is sponsored by Filmora Video Editor, to find out more information click here ????
Later we headed down the hill to the park called Parque General San Martin where we first visited the Fountain or the Continents or Fuente de los Continentes we also spent some time walking around the park.
We’d worked up an appetite so later we headed back to the main part of the city where we went to a restaurant that came highly recommended on Avenue Arístides Villanueva called El Palenque Aristides - here we had (more) Argentinean Malbec as well as some amazing empanadas.
Lastly we made our was the Plaza Independencia, which is in the very centre of the city and seems to be the point of reference for more directions in the city. Unfortunately the main water feature in the park was under construction when we were there.
ABOUT MENDOZA
Mendoza is a city in Argentina’s Cuyo region and the heart of Argentina's wine country, famed for Malbecs and other red wines. Its many bodegas (wineries) offer tastings and tours. The city has wide, leafy streets lined with modern and art deco buildings, and smaller plazas surrounding Plaza Independencia, site of subterranean Museo Municipal de Arte Moderno, displaying modern and contemporary art.

Road trip in South America - Peru, Chile and Argentina
I went on a road trip with few friends around South America. First we stoped in Peru and went to see the Machu Picchu. Then we headed to Chile with Santiago and Valparaiso. Then we took a bus to cross the border with Argentina. We rented a car to do the Road 41 in Patagonia and we finished in Buenos Aires. It was such a great road trip!
Argentinian Food Feast ????FIRST TIME TRYING ASADO ????What to Eat in Argentina.
Argentina Asado Feast! While in Mendoza, Argentina we thought it was the perfect time to try Argentinian food! This was our first time trying Argentinian Asado/Parrilla!
To start things off, earlier in the day we tried a food that came to Argentina from Italy, Milanese! Made from veal, the meat is pounded and breaded, this type was topped with cheese, bacon and green onion. We found it at Jebb’s in Chacras de Coria.
After this we got a small treat from a local bakery, a cookie called Alfajores. We had tried these in Chile and we’re happy to try it again in Argentina.
Lastly we headed for a huge Asado meal at a restaurant called Anastasio El Pollo. Here we had Provolo (cheese melted over a fire served with fried bread), loads of Asado with tonnes of different types of meats, grilled veggies and chicken.
ABOUT ARGENTINIAN FOOD
Argentine cuisine is described as a cultural blending of Mediterranean influences with and very small inflows, Indigenous, within the wide scope of agricultural products that are abundant in the country.

IS SÃO PAULO SAFE? ???????? The Real Brazil ????????
In this week’s video from São Paulo , we travel around the city to some of the major tourist attractions and assess whether or not they are safe.
We start things off at the São Paulo Cathedral in Centro where for the first time in all our times filming, we felt like we shouldn’t take our big filming camera out, instead we filmed on an iPhone. There were plenty of people around, including police officers and a lot of other tourists but we also felt like there were a lot of people watching and scooping the area. We also made our way into the beautiful cathedral to explore it.
Later we made our way just up the street to the Liberdade area of São Paulo, which happens to have the largest Japanese population outside of Japan. We felt much safer here. Of course, while in the area we had to have some sushi and Japanese cuisine.
Later in the day we headed to one of the main streets in the whole city called Paulista Avenue. Because it was the weekend, the entire street was shut down for pedestrians, bikers, scooters and skateboarders. There were also loads of street performers and vendors.
Lastly we headed back to our very nearby hotel, the InterContinental São Paulo to show you around our One bedroom Executive Suite and the amenities of the hotel.
To find out more and book this hotel, head here ????
ABOUT SAO PAULO
São Paulo, Brazil’s vibrant financial center, is among the world's most populous cities, with numerous cultural institutions and a rich architectural tradition. Its iconic buildings range from its neo-Gothic cathedral and the 1929 Martinelli skyscraper to modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer’s curvy Edifício Copan. The colonial-style Pátio do Colégio church marks where Jesuit priests founded the city in 1554.
