Antique Stoves Las Vegas
If you love antiques then you will love these wood burning and coal stoves.
I talk with David Alexander about the stoves he repairs. Many of these stoves are from the 1800's and look good as new.
You can see more about them at -
I loved talking with David and learning more about how these old stoves work and who designed them.

Fremont Experience and Shelby Museum - Las Vegas 2012
The Bling part of our Vegas Trip. One elegant night, dinner at the Venetian and Phantom of the Opera, and one night dinner at Joe's and off to see the lights of Vegas with a walk through the Fremont Experience, which really was quite an experience! Great for people watching. Nice to see old downtown Vegas, the 4 Queens, etc., saved by the Experience which is Fremont Street now closed to traffic (cross traffic still goes through) and covered with the world's largest video screen which covers the street for blocks. You can zip line from one end to the other, lots of street musicians and the Neon Museum showcases some of the vintage working neon signs throughout. As you can see, I loved the Martini with all of its movement and color. The next morning on our way to the Valley of Fire (video three - so awesome, it needs an entire video to itself) we stopped at the Shelby Museum, which has the first Cobra and a few other beautiful cars. Note the last photos...the dent and yellow paint. A significant part of Shelby history - do you know why??

The Nevada Northern Railway Museum:
Historic passenger railroad featuring train rides pulled by century-old steam engines.
A registered National Historic Landmark
Consisting of the original railway locomotives, rolling stock, track, passenger station, and buildings that served the historic copper mining region of Central Nevada for over a century.
All of this is being preserved by a non-profit historic museum so you can come and enjoy a piece of American history.
Track for the Nevada Northern Railway was laid over a century ago, connecting one of the largest copper mines in North America to the Transcontinental routes to the North. Today, several of the original large standard-gauge steam locomotives that were ordered and delivered new to the railroad over a century ago are still in operation. The Nevada Northern Railway is the best-preserved example of a standard-gauge short-line left in North America.
