What to do in BUENOS AIRES. Best City in South America? Travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina ????????
What should you do in Buenos Aires, Argentina? Well we visit Buenos Aires for the first time and found some absolutely amazing things to do in the city!
We start things off in the Japanese Gardens (Jardín Japonés)! These gardens are quiet and idyllic and feel like an oasis in the middle of the city, they also happen to be the largest gardens of their type outside of Japan.
Next up was a very famous place in Buenos Aires and must-do while in the city- La Recoleta Cemetery. This is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world and contains the graves of some of the most famous and notable people in Argentinian history.
After this we headed to another super notable place in Recoleta, a very famous bookstore called El Ateneo Grand Splendid. Just like the cemetery, it is considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world- mainly because it’s situated in a former opera house. You can still see where the stage (now a coffee shop), and opera boxes were.
Lastly we head back to the area we stayed in called Palermo Hollywood to grab some drinks and food. Buenos Aires is full of interesting and diverse restaurants, not just asado which you might expect- but also loads of international foods. We found a place called KOI Beer and Dumplings where we had both beer and delicious dumplings.
ABOUT BUENOS AIRES
Buenos Aires is Argentina’s big, cosmopolitan capital city. Its center is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace. Other major attractions include Teatro Colón, a grand 1908 opera house with nearly 2,500 seats, and the modern MALBA museum, displaying Latin American art.

Being vegetarian in Buenos Aires Argentina! Travel Vlog
Argentine cuisine is heavily centered around meat, and as a vegeterian I was worried how I would get on finding food to eat in Buenos Aires. I'm happy to report that there are lots of vegetarian options to be found, and even in the 'steakhouses' or parillas, I was able to get by on lots of delicious sides and always a good glass of wine :). But of course, part of travel means tasting local cuisine, and I will always try the local specialities, even if it is meat.
I did get sick about 30 minutes after finishing the video and since then have tried to stay away from heavy, greasy meats. I have tasted choripan and tried meat empanadas as well. I'd go back to meat for choripan if it wasn't for the animals ????.
Make sure to subscribe for the next travel vlog where I learn to make empanadas and eat some more meat haha.

Argentina Travel Vlog: Buenos Aires to Patagonia
Argentina, November 2014
Buenos Aires captivated us with its glamor and grit. But, the immense beauty of Patagonia gave us pause. In the southernmost region of the world, the earth is barren and all-encompassing. Landscapes are littered with rugged mountains, ancient glaciers, and enduring wildlife. This experience reshaped our realities and reminded us how small we are, and how remarkable this planet is. We are so thankful for this trip and hope that we can inspire others to trek down to see it for themselves.

I crossed the Pacific Ocean on sailing boats as crew and visited The Unites States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, The Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, The Kingdom Of Niue, Rarotonga, Tonga, Fiji, some other small islands and ended up in New Zealand. In New Zealand I cycled 3.000km from the northernmost point to the southernmost point. After that I rode a motorbike from Vietnam to Laos and Cambodia. Recently I converted a Rusian 4x4 UAZ Buhanka oldtimer into a campervan and am driving around Central Asia with my puppy dog.
