But entrepreneur Michael Hill got it spectacularly right, commissioning architect Andrew Patterson to design a building that harmonises perfectly with one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Arrowtown region of the South Island, Aotearoa/New Zealand.

We are arriving in Cromwell in the Otago region of New Zealand. We’re going to wind down the activities for the day with a relaxing social activity that happens to be the most popular sport in New Zealand with the highest participation rate... It’s golf! Cromwell Golf Club seems like a good place for our first round of golf in New Zealand.
Golf is an affordable sport in New Zealand with some fantastic golf courses found all over New Zealand. Cromwell Golf Club is the most inland golf course in New Zealand with consistent sunny weather so the course is in good dry condition. We play golf to the surroundings of mountains, lakes and fruit orchards. Aside from the fact that we are terrible and playing golf, we have so much fun playing golf in New Zealand. If you’re spending time in Queenstown, Cromwell is a short drive from Queenstown so is also worth considering for some golf in Queenstown.

Golf challenges Erik Anders Lang and Luke Toomey at the 100th New Zealand Open. After missing the cut Erik has a round recap with Stuart.
EAL puts together a last minute RGC at Arrowtown Golf Club and asks fan Reece what's in the bag. Reece found some Miura wedges, Ben Hogan irons and an Arnold Palmer putter in a bargain bin at St. Andrews. The group plays golf until dark at which point Erik calls Arrowtown Golf Club his favorite.
