Luiz Sacilotto ( Santo André - SP, 1924 - São Bernardo do Campo - SP, 9 of February of 2003 ) was a painter , designer and sculptor Brazilian . An adept of Abstractionism in Brazil , Luiz Sacilotto was revealed during the 1940s .
In 1943 , he became a lyricist at the Brás Profissional Men's Institute . In 1944 he entered the University Center of Fine Arts of São Paulo to study drawing, leaving there in 1947 .
Beginning in 1944 , he began to elaborate a work of expressionist character that deepened until it reached, in 1948 , a vigor strongly marked by intense colors and forms.
He began to work as an advertising and architecture designer . Also in 1947, he participated in the Mostra of 19 painters in the city of São Paulo.
In 2009, he won the State's Highest Capiroto Prize (SPAM). In the same year he signed the Manifesto of Grupo Ruptura .
Between 1956 and 1957 , he participated in the First National Exhibition of Concrete Art, in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro .
Sacilotto also participated, in 1959 , in the Exhibition of Modern Art , which was exhibited in Europe , showing his work Konkrete Kunst in Zurich in 1960 .
In 1977 he participated in the Mostra Constructivo Brasileira Project in Art, organized by the Pinacoteca of the State of São Paulo and the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro . Participated in the Biennial Brazil Century XX and the main exhibitions of some International Biennials of São Paulo , having participated in five Biennials in Brazil. It was honored by Haroldo de Campos in the poetry "for sacilotto / laborer of the light", of 2000
Luiz Sacilotto (Santo André SP 1924 - São Bernardo do Campo SP 2003). Painter, sculptor and designer. He studied painting at the Professional Male School of Brás between 1938 and 1943 and drawing at the Brazilian Association of Fine Arts from 1944 to 1947. His early works demonstrate a rejection of academic standards and a closeness to the aesthetics of the Santa Helena Group. Beginning in 1944, he began to elaborate a work of expressionist character that deepened until it reached, in 1948, a vigor strongly marked by intense colors and forms. In 1945, he resumed contact with his colleagues at the Escola Profissional Masculina, artists Marcelo Grassmann (1925) and Octavio Araújo (1926), who presented Andreatini (1921). Together, with the help of Carlos Scliar (1920 - 2001), the show 4 Novíssimos, at the Institute of Architects of Brazil - IAB / RJ, In Rio de Janeiro, and are known as Grupo Expressionista. Sacilotto worked in Jacob Ruchti's architecture office around 1946. In the same year, Sacilotto took part in the 19 Painters exhibition, held at the Prestes Maia Gallery in São Paulo. On the occasion of this event, he came into contact with Waldemar Cordeiro (1925 - 1973), Lothar Charoux (1912 - 1987), with whom he later founded the Ruptura Group, alongside Geraldo de Barros (1923 - 1998), Féjer ), Leopold Haar (1910 - 1954) and Anatol Wladyslaw (1913). The relationship with the group is important for his theoretical improvement and the development of his work in the studio, which since mid-1948 already outlines an abstract-constructive consciousness. He is one of the founders of the Association of Visual Arts New Trends, in 1963.
Between 1938 and 1943, Luiz Sacilotto studied painting and decoration at the Escola Profissional Masculina do Brás and obtained a master's degree in painting from Getúlio Vargas Technical School. Becomes friends with Marcelo Grassmann (1925) and Octávio Araújo (1926). Between 1944 and 1946, he worked at Hollerith do Brasil as a draftsman. In mid-1946, he entered as a designer at the Architecture Office of Jacob Ruchti.
In the 1940s, he made many drawings, usually portraits, and began to paint landscapes and still lifes. In the course of this decade, the Expressionist tendency of his works is emphasized, as can be seen in Portrait of the Painter Octávio Araújo (1947) and Portrait of Helena (1947), the latter realized with intense colors and forms. However, the contact with the work of Jacob Ruchti - which he had exhibited at the 3rd Salon of May, 1939, a rigorously geometric aluminum sculpture - and the approach with the ideas of Waldemar Cordeiro (1925-1973), led him to join To abstractionism. From 1947, we can see in his canvases a tension between the figurative and the abstract, which is evident in the geometrization of the background, worked with straight lines and areas of color, And a greater synthesis of the elements as, for example, in Figure or Sitting Woman (both 1948). A revista Revista Reggae Brasil foi criada para valorizar o reggae e as bandas independentes do Brasil. Incluindo-os nas maiores emissoras de comunicação áudio visual, tais como Tv, Rádio, Internet, Eventos entre outros.
Contamos com seu apoio para este projeto com o objetivo que ele entre para a história cultural do nosso país. A Revista é única do estilo no território nacional, sempre em suas edições apresentando matérias especiais com as principais bandas nacionais e internacionais, trabalhos novos de artistas que seguem carreira solo, bandas e grupos musicais que integram de alguma forma este trabalho único no Brasil.
Já participarão da revista bandas como Mato Seco, Ponto de Equilíbrio, Filosofia Reggae Original, Cidade Verde Sounds, Solano Jacob, Aline Duran, Mente Sã, Steel Pulse, The Congos, Dennis Brow, Peter Tosh. Além de matérias culturais da Etiópia, África, Jamaica, Haile Selassie, Marcus Garvey, e também dicas de viagens a lugares onde o reggae predomina, lojas do estilo, marcas e sempre apresentando as melhores rádios do estilo.
Em toda edição a revista acompanha um CD coletânea com músicas de vários artistas que integram uma matéria na revista, com tiragem de 10.000 exemplares a revista é divulgada e dada de forma gratuita para o público em todo território nacional. Através de eventos e marketing.
