The mother city..
One of the oldest settlements of South Africa, the country’s capital Cape Town was founded as a waystation in 1652 by the Dutch East India Company. Through the centuries from that point the town has grown up into a bustling and cosmopolitan city, the 10th most populous on the African continent, it is also one of the world’s most multicultural cities.

The neighborhoods of Cape Town :

- The Woodstock Exchange
- The Trafalgar Swimming Pool
- The Palms Market
- The Cat’s Meow
#BoKaap
Colorful Bo-Kaap is bursting with culture. Packed full of cafes, bars and restaurants, the multicultural district is also known as the Malay Quarter, after the large Malay population which has settled there. The quarter is a network of charming streets, each revealing a mix of architecture and culture that makes the area unique. Take a walk around the area’s cobbled streets and discover interesting attractions such as the Bo-Kaap Museum and delve into delicious curries that are served up in simple Malay eateries.
- Heritage Square
- Battery Park
- The Bo-Kaap Museum
V&A #Waterfront
Named after Queen Victoria and her son Alfred, the V&A Waterfront is right in middle of Cape Town’s harbor, set against the magnificent backdrop that is Table Mountain. The V&A Waterfront is a big attraction for locals and tourists alike, drawn there for the world famous view and the social buzz of the cafes and restaurants. The area is full of fun, family friendly attractions such as an aquarium, a maritime museum and cinemas.

The area’s central location, just outside the city center, means that it is close to Cape Town’s big attractions, such as Sea Point and the beaches in Clifton. Green Point is made up of narrow lanes and old Victorian villas which create a welcoming, safe atmosphere. Nightlife is a big draw to the district with its liberal, gay-friendly social scene which welcomes everyone into the area’s bars and clubs.

As a cosmopolitan suburb, Sea Point is home to a multitude of people and religions and has some of the most expensive homes in the city. The Best of the Garden Route + Addo, South Africa
The Garden Route is a 300 Km (190 mi) stretch of the southeastern coast of South Africa that stretches from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River in the Eastern Cape.
Featuring fresh water lakes, stunning mountains, indigenous forests, golden beaches and vividly colored wild flowers, the Garden Route is one of the most beautiful areas in South Africa and a popular holiday destination for local and international tourists alike,
During my 5-day Garden Route + Addo Elephant Park trip with Hot Spots 2 C, I experienced the best of the Garden Route (Nature’s Valley, Storms River, Sedgefield, Wilderness, etc), and also jumped from the highest bungy bridge in the world, zip lined over waterfalls, hiked through the lush Tsitsikma Forest, fed and interacted with elephants, was amazed by the beauty of the Cango Caves and also did a safari at Addo Elephant Camp.
You can find more information about this road trip on link below:

A few months ago I was in Cape Town, South Africa to bring awareness about the ocean pollution problem together with other students during the Volvo Ocean Race 2017. Besides the project we had some spare time to explore the beauty of Cape Town. I made a short recap to sum up some of the amazing moments.
Together with four students from Fontys Academy for Creative Industries we visited the Table Mountain, Lionshead, Langa Township, Aquila Private Game Reserve, V&A waterfront, City Sightseeing Cape Town, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Cape of Good Hope, Shark Cage Diving at Gansbaai, Bo-Kaap, the Penguins at Boulders Beach, Robben Island Museum, Camps Bay and Hermanus.

Epic Landscape Photography in Cape Town
Do you think of landscape photography when you think of Cape Town? Do you think of landscape photography when thinking of South Africa? Probably not. But, the truth is, there are some epic photo spots in this country. And, within an hour's drive from Cape Town there are some of the best landscape photography locations in the world.
I drove out of Cape Town and headed towards a place called Kogel Bay. It's along the Whale Coast of South Africa. It's known for its wildlife sightings. Here, you can spot sharks, southern right whales, and there are almost always a couple troops of cheeky baboons around. But, what this place should be known for is its landscape photography potential.
The landscape photography opportunities here are immense. There are so many really cool places to take pictures along this coast. There are seascapes that are just unreal, and there are just endless compositions.
I found a spot along the bay that had a pretty nice foreground, some surfers in the water, and the potential to catch some beautiful sunset light. Of course, the light didn't behave, but this was still just a wonderful place to do some landscape photography.

Cape Town - South Africa (HD1080p)
*** Cape Town is the second most populous city in South Africa, after Johannesburg. It is part of the metropolitan municipality of Cape Town. It is the capital of the Western Cape Province, as well as the legislative capital of South Africa, where both the National Parliament and many other government offices are located. Cape Town is famous for its port, as well as for its natural combination of flora, Table Mountain and Punta del Cabo. It is also the most popular tourist destination in Africa.***

Spa Treatments
The Bloom Forest Spa on Grootbos Private Nature Reserve is an earth-bound heaven where soothing spa treatments are combined with nature's healing touch.
The Bloom Forest Spa is set in an ancient Milkwood forest where the dense foliage blocks out all civilisation and creates a scene of utter serenity. The Milkwood trees have draping branches that caress the ground and gnarled twisted branches that reach towards the sky. The dense foliage encapsulates anyone walking through where civilisation dissipates and is replaced by the melodic tweeting of endemic birds and the gentle sway of these wise-old branches. Milkwoods can grow to be 1000 years old and the twisting trunks are monuments to the test of time.
The Spa is perfectly positioned to reap the benefits of the tranquillity of the natural surroundings, and when combined with the lush interior comforts make the experience memorable. Guests can choose from a wide range of treatments that will alleviate tension and treatments that will beautify.
To leave on legs of jelly and completely at ease, relish the joys of a Full Body Massage that derives inspiration from the Swedish and Classic techniques. This is definitely one to eliminate all tension and rejuvenate the muscles. Our skilled masseuses then use the art of Foot Reflexology to balance the entire body with pressure on certain points of the foot that relate to particular body parts. Guests can otherwise choose the Japanese-inspired Shiatsu that uses a traditional art of healing by touch and pressure that releases and rebalances the energy of the body.
Leave the Spa healthy and attractive with a manicure and pedicure that will exfoliate, shape, clean and pamper your hands and feet. Embrace the open summer sandals with perfect nails and a colour of your choice. There are facials that will exfoliate all the impurities, clean, hydrate and nourish your skin. The facials includes a face massage, eyebrow plucking, deep cleanse and nourishing mask. After this treatment you will be glowing!
A spa treatment is a must for any of those in desperate need of relaxation and anyone who enjoys soothing sensations, and let's be honest, who doesn't?
