I head to Aldridge to have a quick look around the Aldridge Transport Museum. I should have done more homework, as I mostly forget stuff I knew about buses. BMMO stands for Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus for instance.
Contains: MCW Metrobus Mk2, AEC Routemaster, Leyland Titan, Optare MetroRider (previously an MCW design), Ford Transit Mk1 pick up, Austin A40 ice cream van, MCW Metrocab and some others.

Aldridge Transport Museum - Models in the Museum
Aldridge Transport Museum is celebrating 40 years this years by holding a Models in the Museum event on 25 March 2018. There were over 30 model layouts and displays including railways, buses, lorries and live steam model Burrell traction engine. The level of details and dedication in these layouts is phenomenal.
The Museum celebrates the history of road transport in the West Midlands through its collection of 45 commercial vehicles which includes lorries and trucks, buses and coaches, a 1900's tram, and private cars. The Museum shows the influence that road transport has had on how towns and cities across the West Midlands have developed.
About Aldridge Transport Museum.
Originally housed at the Witton Tram Shed, the Aston Manor Road Transport Museum opened in 1992. The Museum, which is a registered Charity, moved to Aldridge in 2011 where it continues to develop. It houses a wide range of buses, commercial vehicles, private cars and items of transport memorabilia that have a Midlands Connection. The Museum is self-funded and is entirely run by volunteers. New supporters and helpers are always welcome.
The Museum is open every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm.

A buddy and I grab the M4 and head down to Colonial Heights, VA to visit the superb Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum.
When I visited Wichita last month to pick up my Hoopty M3, I hung out with WatchJRGo, and he is well-known for his tractor content, as well as many awesome 80s rides and a twin-turbo gated shifter R8.
