Auckland domain, Auckland city, New Zealand
Auckland domain, New Zealand, long version
We went to Auckland domain to see the cherry blossom trees in the early October.
Auckland Domain is the oldest park in Auckland and is located in the central city. The two main popular attractions located in Auckland domain are the Auckland Museum and the Winter Garden.
The information below is from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Auckland Domain is Auckland's oldest park, and at 75 hectares one of the largest in the city. Located in the central suburb of Grafton, the park contains all of the explosion crater and most of the surrounding tuff ring of the Pukekawa volcano.
The park is home to one of Auckland's main tourist attractions, the Auckland War Memorial Museum, which sits prominently on the crater rim (tuff ring). Several sports fields occupy the floor of the crater, circling to the south of the cone, while the rim opposite the Museum hosts the cricket pavilion and Auckland City Hospital. The Domain Wintergardens, with two beautiful glass houses, lie on the north side of the central scoria cone. The fernery has been constructed in an old quarry in part of the cone. The duck ponds lie in the northern sector of the explosion crater, which is breached to the north with a small overflow stream.

TOUR OF ALBERT PARK | AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND
Today i wanted to give you guys a walking tour of Albert Park, here in downtown Auckland | New Zealand.
Albert Park is a public park in central Auckland, bounded by Wellesley Street East, Princes Street, Bowen Avenue and Kitchener Street. From the entrance at the corner of Bowen Ave and Kitchener St, sealed footpaths climb steeply through native trees to the large flat area at the summit, where a formal layout of paths and flower gardens encircle a fountain.
Albert Park occupies much of the site of the Albert Barracks, one of Auckland's early European military fortifications, which in turn was built on the previous site of Te Horotiu pa. The barracks consisted of a number of wooden and masonry structures standing in an enclosed area surrounded by a rock fortification built of the local volcanic stone. A portion of this wall remains visible in the adjacent University of Auckland grounds, and is registered by Heritage New Zealand as a Category I historic place.
After wandering around Albert Park and down Queen Street i headed back to my friend Tims place to try a new Indian restaurant around the corner in Mt Eden then we discussed our top five countries we want to visit but haven't been to yet.
Hope you guys are loving the Auckland videos I'm having an absolute blast here! More Auckland adventures to come! :)

More information about Albert Park from Wikipedia:
The Park was laid out in the 1880s and originally had commanding views over the city and harbour. The view now is of modern office blocks, except where mature trees have hidden the buildings. The Park contains a number of interesting specimen trees dating from the 1880s to the first World War.
A caretaker's residence was provided which still stands on the eastern side of the part adjacent to Princes Street. After 1906 this Gothic-styled cottage was occupied by the City Park Superintendent Thomas Pearson, who died here in 1931. It is currently occupied by a Clock Museum.
The design of the park was the result of a public competition and follows a formal layout with a main north-south axis. To the north of the axis is the bronze statue of Queen Victoria (1897); to the south is a bandstand (James Slator 1901). Between them is a large cast iron fountain imported from Great Britain in 1881 which forms the centre piece of the park.
The fountain is distinguished by statues of dolphins ridden by cherubs blowing horns which spout water. The fountain is surmounted by a generic female figure which also has a horn spouting water.
The statue of Queen Victoria was one of several similar sculptures installed by municipal authorities throughout the British Empire following the monarch Diamond Jubilee in 1897. This sculpture was cast in London and unveiled with considerable ceremony here as part of the Jubilee celebrations.
The red granite pedestal is intact but the ensemble originally included a massive cast iron ornamental fence which has been removed.
Mt Eden, Auckland central suburb
Mt Eden, Auckland
Mount Eden is a central suburb in Auckland. Phillip had an exam in Mt Eden. We walked along the streets, and filmed a little bits. There were many cars in the morning busy time.
There are two popular attractions in this area, Mt Eden Domain and Eden Park ( New Zealand's iconic national stadium),
The information below is from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mount Eden is a suburb in Auckland, New Zealand whose name honours George Eden, 1st Earl of Auckland. It is 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the Central Business District (CBD). Mt Eden Road winds its way around the side of Mount Eden Domain and continues to weave back and forth as it descends into the valley; it runs south from Eden Terrace to Three Kings. Mt Eden village centre is located roughly between Valley Road and Grange Road. The domain is accessible on foot from many of the surrounding streets, and by vehicle from Mt Eden Road. The central focus of the suburb is Maungawhau / Mount Eden, a dormant volcano whose summit is the highest natural point on the Auckland isthmus.

The Auckland central business district (CBD), also called the city centre by Auckland Council, is the geographical and economic heart of the Auckland metropolitan area. It is the area in which Auckland was established in 1840, by William Hobson.
The CBD is one of the most densely developed places in New Zealand, with many commercial and some residential developments packed into a space of only 433 hectares (1,070 acres). The area is made up of the city's largest concentration of skyscrapers and businesses. Bounded by several major motorways and by the harbour coastline in the north, it is surrounded further out by mostly suburban areas; it is bounded on the North by Waitematā Harbour, east by Parnell, southeast by Grafton, south by Mount Eden, southwest by Newton, west by Freemans Bay and northwest by Viaduct Harbour.

The Auckland War Memorial Museum (or simply the Auckland Museum) is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. Its collections concentrate on New Zealand history(and especially the history of the Auckland Region), natural history, as well as military history.
The Wintergardens consists of two large glasshouses: one non-heated Temperate House and one Tropical House (heated to an average of 28°C). In between the two glasshouses there is an ornate courtyard with several neoclassical statues and a sunken pond in the centre.

Albert Park, Auckland, New Zealand
Albert Park, Auckland CBD, New Zealand
In June we visited Auckland city CBD, such as Albert park, middletown, and downtown. Auckland winter starts from June so it's the early winter in Auckland but the weather's still good! There was a lot of people in Auckland along with a lot of activities. We had a lot of fun walking around.
Albert Park is one of Auckland’s most important parks. Its central location in the heart of the CBD, together with its long history and distinctive character, have earned it a special place in the hearts of Aucklanders and made it an important destination for visitors.

Auckland Cornwall Park, New Zealand
This is a short version for our Autumn visiting in Auckland Cornwall Park.
One Trill Hill Park is a popular tourism attraction in Auckland and is located in the central Auckland, and only 15 minutes driving from Auckland downtown.
One Tree Hill is Auckland’s largest and intact volcanic cone excluding Rangitoto and you get extensive city views from the summit.
One Tree Hill Domain and the neighbouring Cornwall Park form the largest area of parkland in Auckland City. The pastoral Cornwall Park, grazed by sheep and cattle, gives you the impression you are in the countryside.
