NEVER ENDING Indian STREET FOOD Night Tour of the PINK CITY | Jaipur, India
During my visit to Jaipur, aka the Pink City I went on a never ending Indian street food tour with my friend Atray from Hungry Walks and in association with Delhi Food Walks to try all the amazing Indian street food in Jaipur!
TRAVEL HUSTLE REPEAT GEAR ►
MY FILM MAKING KIT ►
We started our never-ending Indian street food tour with some Chai at Sahu Chai Wala. They have a different type of Chai because they make it on coal and it simmers for a long time.
Next up is Aloo Tikki a deep fried potato patty with chick pea curry and Papdi Chaat a fried wafer snack. They were both delicious!!
To change things up we went and got a quick dessert called Mishri Mawa which is rice pudding with cardamon. A great way to change up the taste!
We then hit up a place to try some mouth fresheners. I tried like 7 things, but everything had spices so be-aware of that!
A must visit is Achar Shop which is a 180 year old pickle shop that has some of the tastiest pickles in the world! The best was the mango flavored pickle, wow so good!
Next is Kachori, a fried pastry with yogurt and chutney! A very tasty dish!
We had to hit up another pastry shop and we dried Laddu, which is basically a glazed doughnut. It was extremely sweet!
Then on to the main course to try some Rajasthani food! We tried Gatte Ki Sabzi, Daal, Aloo Pyaz Sabzi and Bejad Ki Roti. The combination was really delicious! The taste of the Gatte Ki Sabzi was the winner for me!
We then went on to try three things, Kadhai Ka Doodh which is milk that simmers for hours. Thandi which is like a Indian slushy with berries and nuts and Paan.
Out of everything we tried my favorite was the Rajasthani food! It was top notch!!
Here is the list of all the dishes:
-Chai
-Aloo Tikki
-Papdi Chaat
-Mishri Mawa
-Mouth Fresheners
-Achar Shop
-Kachori
-Laddu
-Gatte Ki Sabzi
-Daal
-Aloo Pyaz Sabzi
-Bejad Ki Roti
-Kadhai Ka Doodh
-Thandi
-Paan
Next time you find yourself in Jaipuri definitely book a tour with my friends at Delhi Food Walks:

Overview of Chokhi Dhani Village Jaipur | A must visit place of Rajasthan | Village Tour
Chokhi Dhani is a concept capturing the vibrant spirit of Rajasthan and ensuring a perfect Rajasthani experience. Inbound and native tourists have a desire to experience the unique Rajasthani culture. The real Rajasthan, the villages, the paintings, Bani Thani art, the wall decorations, Dipak wall, the fresh air, the evening performances, the enthusiasm, the 'manuhar' (a delicate request to eat till your heart’s desire), the traditions, the costumes and at last but not least the Feelings.
At Chokhi Dhani we bring that all for you. Our aim is to preserve and encourage the village art and culture, to get today's generation closer to the roots and the globetrekkers to see Indian village life.

Indian Food in Mumbai - HARDCORE Non-Veg Nalli Nihari and Bombay Street Food Sandwich!
In Mumbai get ready to eat some amazing Indian food!
►Subscribe to my channel now:
►T-shirts:
Day 4: Mumbai, India - To start the day we met up with Myron, who is from Mumbai, and we headed over to explore Crawford Market. We stopped at a restaurant called Noor Mohammadi for a stunning dish called nalli nihari, and then had one of the most fascinating Mumbai street food sandwiches I’ve ever seen. It was a great day of food in Mumbai!
1:27 Crawford Market (Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandai) - We started off the morning by walking around what’s known as Crawford Market. The market is indoor and there’s just about anything you can imagine for sale from food to household supplies.
3:55 Noor Mohammadi Hotel (Restaurant) - This restaurants was one of the highlights of this day in Mumbai, and we came here specifically to eat a hardcore non-veg dish called nalli nihari. Typically in India the dish is made from buffalo and it includes bone marrow in the stew as well. It was incredibly oily and fatty, but also incredibly delicious. It was like richness on top of richness, and every single bite of the nalli nihari was worth it. The nalli nihari was especially good with the tandoori roti.
9:05 Bhendi Bazaar - After enjoying the nalli nihari, we then took a walk through Bhendi Bazaar, another action packed street market in Mumbai. There’s always something going on at Bhendi Bazaar, and some kind of action taking place.
10:30 Mumbai sandwich (Bombay sandwich) - When I spotted a man making sandwiches, I couldn’t wait to try it. Known commonly as the Bombay veg or Bombay chutney sandwich, but now also called the Mumbai sandwich, this is a favorite street food snack in Mumbai. You don’t normally think of sandwiches when you think of Indian food, but there are countless sandwich stalls in Mumbai. In contrast to the non-vegetarian dish I had previously, this Mumbai sandwich was vegetarian, and I got a mix of all the toppings, including tomato, onion, beetroot, cucumber, and cheese, all layered with chutney, and grilled in a fire. The sandwich was quite tasty, especially in a large part because of the different chutneys.
14:20 Haji Ali Juice Center / Haji Ali Dargah - Next we took a taxi over to Haji Ali Dargah (mosque), and had a juice at the legendary Haji Ali Juice Center. Unfortunately when we visited Haji Ali Mosque, the ocean tide was too high, so couldn’t walk to it.
16:46 Mount Mary Church - We then headed to Bandra and first stopped off at Mount Mary Church, one of the most famous basilica’s in Mumbai.
17:39 Castella de Aguada - Next we went to walk around Castella de Aguada, an old Portuguese fort, that’s now more like a park and a popular hangout spot.
19:00 Elco Restaurant - Since we were in the area, for snack we went to Elco and to have some chaat. We tried sev puri and dahi puri, both of which were very good, and it was nice to get some AC and relaxation indoors for a little while.
20:50 Milk dessert - While we were walking around Myron spotted a cart selling a type of milk dessert made from the first milk (colostrum). It was indeed very interesting.
22:16 Jai Jawan (Khar branch) - Finally for dinner, out last stop of the day, we walked over to a restaurant called Jai Jawan to eat their prawns fry and tandoori chicken. Dinner was amazing, Jai Jawan is a fantastic restaurant.

Food info:
1) Khad Lam (Slow Cooked Underground Lamb):
Khad lamb (means cooking lamb in a pit in the ground)
Earlier soldiers didn’t want to leave any trace of smoke so that they can hide hence discovered this way of cooking.
Earlier it was rabbit meat but now since it banned so we are cooking lamb.
Making of garam masala- Roast all the following ingredients and pound it together: green cardamom, black pepper, cloves, coriander seeds, black cardamom, turmeric, bay leaves and caramelized onion powder.
Basic marination- Make cuts on the leg of the lamb and put minced garlic with lots of freshly prepared garam masala.
Next for the paste-mix red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, salt and lots of ghee.
Add this paste to the basic marination with a base of rotis and banana leaves. Cover it with a wet jute sack so that it doesn’t burn as it needs to be in direct contact with the fire for 2 hours in the pit.
2) Junglee Mass (Wild meat)
Five Ingredients Recipe-
If hunting, you get stranded, these are easily available in any village
Red chilli powder, Ghee, Salt, Dal or lentil, Coriander seeds, Lamb pieces. In a wok, combine everything together till the meat is soft and tender.

Join the journey as we continue the golden triangle tour this time heading into the pink city of Jaipur. But before heading into this colorful city I take you through one of the hidden tourist sites Fatehpur Sikri.
Tour this once abandoned city as it remains one of the pillars of Indian culture and is also a World Unesco site. The well preserved Fatehpur Sikri is small in size but large in history. Tour the grounds and immerse yourself in this hidden gem. Most tourists often overlook this site when doing the triangle yet it is the perfect stop on your way from Agra to Jaipur.
Next I take you on a small but very significant culinary adventure as I try my first authentic Indian buffet. Catch a glimpse into the variety of north Indian cuisine and get ready to feast as I guide you through a typical lunch.
Finally arrive into Jaipur as I settle into my hotel and get ready for the adventure ahead.

In this video we would be seeing few authentic and local food places in Jaipur which is very popular among the locals. To start off my day I visited one of the most popular place which is called Tapri. A list of best chai places in Jaipur is incomplete without Tapri. It is a new generation take on chai. It serves a vast variety of chai flavours which you can have, with milk , with hot steamed milk or without milk. This place is always filled with tea lovers specially young couples who spend hours sitting here. So consider yourself lucky if you find a vacant table. While drinking my tea, I sat in the balcony enjoying very refreshing and charismatic view of the lush green Central Park. It opens at 7 AM and serve Parle-G as a complementary. It's menu has a HUGE variety of sides to choose from which have some very funny descriptions and are a great pass time as you wait for your chai to arrive. Cost Rs750 for two people(Approx).
After spending time at the trendy and happening place of Tapri, I went on to Hit the Street food stalls of Jaipur and visited the famous Samrat Restaurant, which is very popular for its Kachoris.
TAPRI - B4-E, Prithviraj Road, Opposite Central Park Gate no.4, C-Scheme, Jaipur.

10 REASONS to VISIT India's Golden Triangle + Qatar - BUCKET LIST TRIP!
Coupons.com ►
One of my favorite travel destinations is India. The only downside to traveling there is that it can be pretty expensive. But you can get cash back on trips to India, and other amazing destinations around the world, by booking your trips via offers on the new coupons.com cash back website.
I chose the Qatar & India’s Golden Triangle vacation package through Great Value Vacations, which takes you to Doha, Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Let’s quickly go through 10 reasons why you need to visit India’s Golden Triangle and a couple of bonus entries in Doha, Qatar!
DELHI
Red Fort - A historic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site that served as the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Empire. It’s a true testament to the power of the Mughal Empire!
Street Food - Visit Chandni Chowk, a cramped and bustling 17th-century market, to try parathas and chutneys, aloo kachori, and jalebi. Also, visit Little Tibet for some spicy Lhaphing, a Tibetan blood sausage called Gyurma, and delicious momos!
Humayan’s Tomb - A massive royal tomb complex that is made up of roughly a hundred tombs, including that of Humayan, a Mughal emperor. It’s the largest royal tomb in Delhi and influenced the construction of the Taj Mahal in Agra!
AGRA
Taj Mahal – A world-famous 17th-century mausoleum complex that was built for Mumatz Mahal, the wife of the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. It’s one of the new seven wonders of the world, and 7 million people travel to Agra to see it every year!
The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah – A mausoleum that is known as “the Baby Taj Mahal.” It represents a shift in Mughal architecture, which influenced the construction of the Taj Mahal!
Agra Fort – A massive, walled city that is made of red sandstone and once served as the capital of the Mughal Empire. It’s one of the most breathtaking locations I’ve ever visited in Asia!
JAIPUR
City Palace - A gorgeous, palatial complex that was built between 1729 and 1732 and served as the home of the royal family. Check out its museum, art gallery, temple, and gorgeous gates!
Rajasthani Thali – A unique thali that consists of a crumbled bread ball that’s mixed with curries, vegetables, and yogurts to create a tasty omelet-like mixture. Try it at Torba Café. It is out of this world!
Hawa Mahal – One of Jaipur’s most stunning buildings, which was built using red and pink sandstone. It’s famous for its unique architecture, which looks somewhat similar to the honeycomb of a beehive!
Historical Forts – Amer Fort is a fortress and palace that consists gates, paths, courtyards, and more. It contains a subterranean tunnel that links to Jiagarh Fort, which is notable for its massive, 18th-century wheeled cannon, Jaivana. Nahargarh Fort completes the ring of defense and contains an amazing fine dining restaurant called Once Upon A Time!
DOHA, QATAR
Souq Waqif Market – A local market where you can find clothing, shoes, accessories, souvenirs, and other items in the market. There, I bought a traditional headdress called a gutra for 20 Qatari riyals!
Desert Safari – A fun adventure where your guides on a wild ride across the desert in an SUV. Flying up, down, and around the dunes is a crazy, once-in-a-lifetime experience that I highly recommend Just don’t eat too much beforehand and you’ll be all set!
I hope you enjoyed this video of my amazing trip to India’s Golden Triangle and Qatar! If you did, please give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment below. Also, please subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss any of my upcoming travel/food adventures.
