Boqueron Bay Beach, formally named Balneario de Boqueron, located on the beach town of Cabo Rojo, is one of the top favorite beaches for families on the main island of Puerto Rico. Boqueron Beach encapsulates dreams of Puerto Rico…particularly for locals who have moved away from the island and often reminisce of childhood memories at the beach.
On this beach, everything is simple, laid back and beautiful. Boqueron beach offers over a mile of light golden sand, water in various shades ranging from dark navy blue to light turquoise like glass. There are hundreds of palm trees, mixed with almond trees and flaming Flamboyan trees offering plenty of shade and adding to that postcard perfect scene.
