Enjoy this amazing footage that I recorded on my iPhone of 2 beautiful Amur Tigers, Kuzma (Male) and Sveta (Female), enjoying a snack inside their enclosure at Banham Zoo, Norfolk.
The footage is accompanied by an informative talk by Charlie who works at the zoo.
Amur tigers, also known as Siberian tigers, are the largest of all the big cats. They are one of 9 subspecies of tiger, 3 of which are now sadly extinct...
Amur tigers are endangered due to habitat loss and hunting for their fur coats and body parts for use in Oriental medicine. It is thought there are currently around 250 adults in the wild. Banham Zoo's tigers are part of an International Breeding Programme. There have been many births here and some of those have gone on to other collections around the world.

Banham Zoo Trip - (November 2017)
1 month ago I visited Banham Zoo!
The main reason that I visited was due to the Sri Lankan Leopard Cubs that were born only two months before! You can see them in this video!
As well as the Sri Lankan leopards, Banham Zoo houses some more rare and unique species such as cheetahs, Amur tigers, snow leopards, grevy's zebras, maned wolves, ocelots, pallas cats and siamangs!

A Fun Look at Wildlife in Banham Zoo England!
Here is a short sum-up of my trip to Banham Zoo in England and it shows most of the animals and wildlife exhibits that are there :)
There were some very interesting diversity there. All of the animals were very happy in their surroundings and had indoor and outdoor compounds. They are also very well looked after, so no worries there.
I hope you get a brief insight look into the day-trip to Banham Zoo and Enjoy!
