BARCELONA WALK | Barcelona Cathedral's Tourist-Filled Square | Spain
A first-person perspective Barcelona walk tour of the area around Barcelona Cathedral.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of Barcelona, featuring Barcelona Cathedral, also known as The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia (Catedral de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia). The tour begins on Carrer dels Boters, then onto Plaça Nova, and then Placita de la Seu, which is a large square in front of Barcelona Cathedral, where the tour concludes.
Sights seen along the tour include Roman Towers (Torres Romanes), ‘Barcino’ sculpture by Joan Brossa, street performers (including the Mad Hatter and a Xenomorph XX121 from Alien), and Barcelona Cathedral.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded June 2017.

Travel Barcelona, Spain - Beautiful Architecture in Barcelona
Take a tour of House of Bones, Barcelona - part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
Hi, I am Naomi and I am very excited to show you the world's greatest attractions.
The curving exterior of Barcelona's Casa Batlló astounds with it's irregular beauty.
The building was designed in 1904 by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi.
Locals have named it the House of Bones because of it's bone-like pillars.
The building's interiors are every bit as curvilinear as it's facade.
Intended as a residence, it now serves as a museum and event space.
Its sculptural roof is said to represent St. George and the dragons.
Even the highest peaks of Casa Batlló show the finest of detail.
Thank you for watching our Travel Video Series. See you next time.
ANTONI GAUDI'S BARCELONA - FOUR UNEARTHLY BUILDINGS YOU MUST-SEE IN BARCELONA
ANTONI GAUDI'S BARCELONA - FOUR UNEARTHLY BUILDINGS YOU MUST-SEE IN BARCELONA
Welcome to Gaudi's Barcelona! Architects, artists, engineers, travellers and vagabonds alike, make their way to the Catalonian capital in a sort of 'design pilgrimage', visiting the surreal moderisme (Spain's version of Art Nouveau) masterpieces of architect, Antoni Gaudi! I visited four of his most prominent works and was blown away by his incorporation of natural forms in his building's structure and aesthetics. I've listed below a little bit of these 'unearthly' buildings history, and why you must-see them when visiting Barcelona!
I am an architectural designer and travel blogger at I travel to experience, document and share the best in architectural design, be it ancient or ultra modern - design is my life! #Travel4Architecture

2. More About This Video ????
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter can be really confusing! So many winding streets, so many tourists, so much to see! But it’s actually quite a small area, and it’s one of the most magical collections of 13-15th century buildings in the world.
And did you know that Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter is actually built on the remains of a 2,000 year old Roman settlement?
Also, not everything is as it seems in the Gothic Quarter. There are lots of secrets in this part of the city, but you have to know where to find them. I will show you!
To sum it up, the Gothic Quarter is a place you really need to visit. It’s also called the Barrio Gótico in Spanish and the Barri Gòtic in Catalan.
In this video I take you to XXXX of the must-see sites in the Gothic Quarter. These are places we visit and you’ll learn about on Devour Tour’s Tapas, Taverns & History Tour.
At each stop in the video, I give you some information behind the history of the area, and also a little Google marker with the name of the street or square so you can find it yourself.
So, where do we visit?
1. Plaça Nova - where the entry point to the Roman town was
2. Carrer del Paradís - where there is an amazing Roman temple
3. Behind the Cathedral - where you can see lots of hidden symbols
4. General Archive of the Crown of Aragon
5. Plaça del Rei - did Columbus stand on these steps?
6. Pont del Bisbe - the most photographed site in all of Barcelona… but it’s not as old as it seems!
7. Jewish Quarter (El Call) - a fascinating little tangle of streets with a long history
8. Plaça Sant Felipe Neri - my favourite square in the city… and with a dark secret
9. Plaça Sant Jaume - the perfect place to decode the Catalan independence issue
10. Pont de Mar - the exit point of the old Roman city!

Endless Vacation Video Tour: A Barcelona Architecture Tour
Bold, brash, colorful, and distinctive, the architecture of Barcelona draws people from all over the world. From projects that broke ground centuries ago, such as the Basilica de la Sagrada Família or Park Güell, both designed by Antoni Gaudí, to newer structures such as Torre Glòries, by Jean Nouvel, and Edifici Fòrum, by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, the Spanish city gracefully balances a wide mix of styles. At dinnertime, travelers can seek out Restaurant Fonda España, whose menu is influenced by the Modernista style of the building it lies in, or Òleum, which offers breathtaking city views from inside the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, a great place to get to know the many art movements that have flourished here.
