Barry Curtis Park, Manukau ISTHMUS
Covering 100ha, Barry Curtis Park is the largest of its kind in New Zealand. The park design reflects the people and cultures of Manukau City and the wider environs of the Auckland Isthmus. The park will provide for civic, festival and sporting events, and will integrate stormwater management for the adjacent proposed Flat Bush town centre.
Construction has begun on the first stages of the park; completion is expected in 2016.

IBarry Curtis Wetland Playground in Flatbush. The park itself is bigger than the Auckland Domain, and the brand-new themed playground won a New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects' gold award for its design.
Not that children care about awards. What really captured their imagination were the Honey I Shrunk the Kids-sized sculptural elements including gigantic pukeko, metal flax stems that emit a range of sounds when turned, and simple but clever puddle pavers, that fill up with water on wet days for children to splash in. Most impressive were the two birds' keeps, a staggering 3m off the ground, and accessed by ladders, where children can use binoculars to survey the surrounding area.
There's more, the Manukau City Council has built what's billed as New Zealand's most ambitious skate park at Barry Curtis. It has New Zealand's first cradle, a combination bowl, and a modern skate plaza.

We went to Auckland Buddhist temple to see the cherry blossom trees today. However there was only a few trees that had blossomed. A member of the Buddhist temple said the other majority of the trees inside the temple will usually blossom in November. Because of this, we will go back again next month.

The Fo Guang Shan temple is a temple and community centre of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist movement in the East Tamaki/Flat Bush suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The temple and complex were built over seven years[1] It was designed in the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty. The temple also includes a large Buddha statue and a two-tonne bell.
Opened in late 2007, the mission of the new temple is to promote Humanistic Buddhism. But it is also intended to benefit (and is open to) non-Buddhists, through education and teaching people how to lead good lives. Even before its official opening, the temple had provided community courses such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese language, yoga and martial arts, as well as providing a venue for crime prevention talks and meetings.

Auckland Domain is the oldest park in Auckland and is located in the central city. The two main popular attractions located in Auckland domain are the Auckland Museum and the Winter Garden.

The Auckland Domain is Auckland's oldest park, and at 75 hectares one of the largest in the city. Located in the central suburb of Grafton, the park contains all of the explosion crater and most of the surrounding tuff ring of the Pukekawa volcano.
The park is home to one of Auckland's main tourist attractions, the Auckland War Memorial Museum, which sits prominently on the crater rim (tuff ring). Several sports fields occupy the floor of the crater, circling to the south of the cone, while the rim opposite the Museum hosts the cricket pavilion and Auckland City Hospital. The Domain Wintergardens, with two beautiful glass houses, lie on the north side of the central scoria cone. The fernery has been constructed in an old quarry in part of the cone. The duck ponds lie in the northern sector of the explosion crater, which is breached to the north with a small overflow stream.
