Pancake Bay Lake Superior Beach Trail, Batchawana Bay Canada
Popular Pancake Bay Provincial Park (est. 1968), located on Lake Superior's north shore near the community of Batchawana Bay, Ontario, Canada, protects a fragile beach dune system and endangered flora and fauna representative of the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence transition forest. It includes a beautiful 3.5 km sand beach, the subject of these monochrome and colour landscapes and close-ups. Nature quotes by Leena Arif, Rachel Carson and Henry Thoreau provide a philosophical context for the lilting composition Inside of Me performed by South Korean pianist Yiruma.

Mini Van Camping at Pancake Bay Provincial Park
In this episode we minivan camp at Pancake Bay Provincial Park. Camping in our converted DIY Dodge Caravan Stealth Camper has been a dream. Wherever you go, you have a nice comfortable bed to climb into. |If you are organized, then everything you need is at your finger tips. This ended up being our last night out on our Western Canada road adventure. I am already planning our next road trip adventure and hopefully we can squeeze it in this year.
In our next episode, we take a slight detour to drive hwy 129 from Ranger Lake to Thessalon. This is Mississaugi Country.

A quick stop at the Batchawana River in Northern Ontario. Not entirely a bad place for a pit stop. Lol.

Voyageurs' Lodge and Cookhouse is located in beautiful Batchawana Bay just North of Sault Ste. Marie along the coast of Lake Superior. Equipped with full service gas pumps and one of the top restaurants around the lake this is a must stop.
