The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) is a Royal Air Force flight which provides an aerial display group comprising an Avro Lancaster, a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane. The aircraft are regularly seen at events commemorating World War II, upon British State occasions, notably the Trooping the Colour celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday in 2006 as well as the wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton in 2011, and at air displays throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
The Flight is administratively part of No. 1 Group RAF, flying out of RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire.
Although usually seen flying in a formation of three, the Lancaster flanked by a fighter on each wing, the Flight comprises 12 aircraft, including six Spitfires, two Hurricanes, a Douglas Dakota, and two De Havilland Chipmunks.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre is located at RAF Coningsby in Coningsby, Lincolnshire. A partnership between the Royal Air Force and Lincolnshire County Council, the centre allows visitors an up close guided tour of the aircraft when not in use, as well as exhibits about the aircraft and other temporary exhibits.

THE WING - BATTLE OF BRITAIN NATIONAL MEMORIAL TO THE FEW
A new Visitor Centre designed in the shape of a Spitfire Wing has been built at the Battle of Britain National Memorial to The Few, at Capel le Ferne, Kent.
Overlooking the Channel high on the cliffs between Dover and Folkestone, it is Intended to be an educational experience and is open to the public daily.
It tells the story of the events leading to the Battle of Britain in the summer of 1940, when we stood alone after the fall of Europe and faced a final aerial onslaught before invasion. Only the young RAF pilots stood in the way and eventually gained supremacy of the skies, meaning Germany had to abandon its plans to invade.
Winston Churchill famously called the young pilots 'THE FEW'.

Unfortunately that day The Dakota and the Lancaster bomber had both had issues which made them unavailable for the airshow, but the Hawker Hurricane and the most famous World War 2 plane the Spitfire were there to keep us entertained. A little information on the hurricane there are only 12 hurricanes still airworthy worldwide and only six of those are in the UK. And the Spitfire was produced in Great numbers and was hugely produced more than any other British combat aircraft before or since the war, 20,341 spitfires were built in 22 different variants and the aircraft remained in production for 12 years

LANCASTER PA474
PA474 is one of only two Lancaster aircraft remaining in airworthy condition out of the 7,377 that were built (the other is in Canada with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at Hamilton, Ontario). PA474 rolled off the production line at the Vickers Armstrong Broughton factory at Hawarden Airfield, Chester on 31 May 1945, just after the war in Europe came to an end, so she was prepared for use against the Japanese as part of the ‘Tiger Force’. However, the war in the Far East also ended before she was deployed and she did not take part in any hostilities.

FINale flight of the Tornado, flying across the sky’s of RAF Honington , Royal Air Force
We was lucky enough to film the FINale flight of the Tornado going across Honnington
The Tornado FINale flypasts will take place on the afternoon of the 19th and 20th February and on the morning of the 21st February.
After careful consideration of a number of factors, the flypast route has been set to incorporate as many locations in the UK as possible that have had a link to the Tornado GR Force over the years. Unfortunately it is not possible to fly over every location and we are unable to add any additional locations.
The Tornado will retire from RAF service at the end of March 2019, no flying will occur after this point.
