Battlefield House near King Street East and Centennial Parkway in Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada is a living history museum and site of the historic Battle of Stoney Creek on June 6, 1813, which was fought during the War of 1812.It was built in 1796.The house and 15.5 acres of parkland , were the property of the Women's Wentworth Historical Society, , and given by this society to the Niagara Parks Commission on January 19, 1962.The park was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1960.

This footage was taken on a day trip to Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek, Ontario Canada. It starts of with the memorial monument, continues through to the Gage House (1796), and the Nash-Jackson House and also includes the Battlefield Monument. Note the orbs and anomalies in some of the pics!

In June 1813, after a stinging defeat by the American forces at Fort George in Niagra-On-The-Lake, the British regrouped on Burlington Heights. On June 5th 1813, in a surprise night raid on the Americans camped at Stoney Creek, the Americans were routed and thus, ended the invasion of Upper Canada.
This video footage shows the little known position of the the British at Fort Burlington Heights on the night of the raide on July 1813.
