Bay Explorer | Tauranga | New Zealand
Your BEST DAY EVER begins early-morning as you’re welcomed aboard the Bay Explorer at the Tauranga waterfront. We cruise through the beautiful harbour, & past the landmark volcanic mountain Mauao. We explore the pristine Bay of Plenty coastline to watch marine wildlife which may include seabirds, penguins, seals, dolphins, whales, sunfish, school fish, sharks and orca. We’ll be pointing out all that they see so you won’t miss a thing! Mid-day, we anchor at a local island paradise and fire up the BBQ, while you relax and unwind with a beverage from our licenced bar. With everyone back on board, we’ll raise the anchors and then head back to our Tauranga moorings, continually watching the wildlife, while passengers mix with the crew and reflect on the day’s discoveries.

Bay Explorer Adventure
A fun trip out of Tauranga, New Zealand aboard the Bay Explorer. We picked a glorious, clear day and encountered a huge school of dolphins. They swam and danced all around us, displaying a variety of behaviours which Brandon and Sol, our skipper and first mate, both marine scientists, explained. There was kayaking and paddle boarding and my epic dive off the boat!

Kasey Kiwi's 2015 Annual Cruise
Helen Brahms from Cruise Planners and Kasey Kiwi from Helen’s New Zealand will be hosting the 2015 Annual New Zealand Cruise onboard the beautiful Celebrity Solstice departing on November 2, 2015. This 12-night cruise will be departing from Sydney, Australia and heading to Hobart, Tasmania before heading across the Tasman Sea to New Zealand.
Your first view of New Zealand will be the amazing coastline of Fiordland. This is untouched natural beauty at its finest. We will get up close to this area by sailing three fiords Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds. As we enter the fiords keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, seals, penguins and other wildlife.
After we leave the beauty of the fiords we will sail around the bottom of the South Island to our first New Zealand port of call, Dunedin. Otherwise known as the Edinburgh of the South due to its Scottish influence.
From Dunedin we head to Akaroa the gateway to Christchurch, New Zealand’s Garden City. From Christchurch we head north to New Zealand’s capital Wellington.
Next we will keep heading north to Tauranga. This is the gateway to Rotorua, the Maori cultural and geothermal area of New Zealand. After Tauranga we will head up to the Bay of Islands. The bay is home to 144 islands and one of the best places to go swimming with the Dolphins.
Our cruise then moves to the City of Sails, Auckland where our cruise will end on November 14, 2015. From here you have choices. You can either head to the airport and fly back to the USA, you can extend your stay in New Zealand with a customized adventure or you could join us for a 4-night extension.
To reserve your spot on Kasey Kiwi’s Annual New Zealand Cruise go to Space is limited so secure your spot now! If you would like more information about New Zealand then please click and fill in the form and we will contact you.
