This is a beautiful spot to relax and rejuvenate. Natural underground spring water is pumped everyday into a spa pool at Bicton Baths. It’s heated to 30 degrees and is a pleasure to soak in. There is also a small beach and enclosed swim area just beyond the car park before the entrance to Bicton Baths. Family friendly with clean change rooms and showers and a large lap pool for swimmers.

Point Walter Jetty Bicton in Winter. My favorite fishing and prawning spot when I was a kid all those years ago. The fishing may be still OK, however the prawning (drag nets) is stuffed nowadays due to the upper river development!
(I have increased the brightness of the video to compensate for the overcast and drizzling weather).

The legendary Australian Coach Tom Hoad while training the Melville's U16 years old team at Bicton's pool in Perth on December 15th, 2012. An eight time Olympian, Tom Hoad, represented Australian Water Polo at the Olympic Games four times: in Rome 1960, Tokyo, 1964, Mexico 1968 and Munich 1972. He coached the Australian National Men's Water Polo team at Montreal 1976, Moscow 1980, Los Angeles 1984 and Seoul 1988 Olympic Games. Tom Hoad coached the 'Fremantle Mariners' to three Australian National League titles out of an unprecedented nine consecutive grand final appearances.

Bicton Arena (1) International Horse Trials: Novice Cross Country
Novice cross country action from a lovely sunny Spring in Devon Friday morning at Bicton Arena (1) International Horse Trials 2018. The event ran following a number of cancellations due to rain around the country hence enjoyed very full classes. The video features a selection of combinations across all four novice sections.
