With beautiful coastal views and a great beachfront location, The Beach has luxury rooms with stylish décor and free Wi-Fi. It also has a sun terrace and surfboard/bike storage.
Bright and airy rooms have New England-style decor and most have sea views, while some also feature a balcony or terrace. Each room includes a mini-fridge with free milk and mineral water, a flat-screen TV with Blu-Ray player and an iPod dock, as well as an en suite bathroom with Orla Kiely toiletries.
Breakfast at The Beach is served in the on-site restaurant. Guests may choose from fresh yoghurts, fresh fruit, chilled juices and hot and cold cereals. For main dishes there is French toast, eggs benedict or the English breakfast - vegetarian English garden breakfast also available. Meals are also served in the evenings.
Just a 5-minute walk away, Bude boasts a wide range of restaurants for evening meals. Water sports are popular in the local area, with surf schools located by the beach.

Its that time of the year when our group of friends travel from all over the place to meet up for an adventure of some kind.
This year we decided not to go to the Gower, but this time head to Pembrokeshire. We stayed in a great big old Farm house/cottage for 3 days and went Coasteering, Golf Frisbee, and beach/Surf day.

Enjoy unopposed views of the award-winning Mawgan Porth beach from this characterful detached seaside home. Beach just five minutes walk accessed through the garden gate. Surrounded by a third of an acre of beautifully kept gardens with big sea-facing suntrap terrace (tables/chairs) looking over gently sloping lawns and a pretty stream that trickles down through to join the sea below; further terraces on various levels to the side of the house with small pond (netted) and, off the drive, a level lawned area with small sheds handy for your beach gear.
Footpath down to beach/South West Coast Path; within 350 yards two excellent hotels (one adults only) with bar/restaurants/spa/pools (day packages available).
Great surf school a few minutes walk away on the beach. A restaurant for every day of the week within 10 minutes walk.

This crescent of golden sand, framed by a glittering bay, has glorious views across to Godrevy Lighthouse, inspiration for Virginia Woolf’s famous novel ‘To the Lighthouse’. With the benefit of the mildest climate in the UK along with waving palm trees and translucent waters, there is a definite tropical feel to the place.
Located just a short walk from the centre of St Ives, the award-winning Blue Flag beach at Porthminster is a family favourite for safe swimming while onshore you can simply relax in a deck chair or try your skill at the mini 18 hole golf course where you can also order up freshly made juices and smoothies. If you’re feeling peckish the beach is also home to the Porthminster Beach café. Serving up great local food, some of which is grown in their adjoining vegetable garden, the café has won many prestigious awards such as Coast magazine’s Best Coastal Café and The Times’ Best Coastal Restaurant.
Parking: Car park overlooking the beach, but can get very busy. Try parking at St Erth or Lelant Saltings and enjoy the scenic branch line that runs right into St Ives and a short stroll down to the beach.
Lifeguard cover from the 19th of May until the 30th of September (2018).
Please note: Dogs are welcome on this beach except between the first Sunday before Easter and 30 September when a seasonal dog ban is in place (2018).
