Timber Trail VLOG
We are a group of Christian volunteers from Central Auckland Church of Christ. We are a band of brothers bonded by our passion for making a positive difference in other people's lives and our love for adventure. For many years we have volunteered in many various charities, communities and initiatives here in Auckland and overseas through HOPE Worldwide Ltd.
To raise funds we took the challenge to bikepack the great 84kms Timber Trail, one of the last remaining intact podocarp forests in the world. Winding between the tiny King Country settlements of Pureora and Ongarue. In and around Pureora Forest Park – a mix of virgin, regenerating and exotic forest full of surprises such as ancient trees, delightful birdlife, and abandoned timber milling sites.
Our goal is to raise NZ$10,000.00. In order to meet this goal, we are asking for sponsorship from businesses and individuals.

Motorway protest
July 4th With all the price increases in fuel the New Zealand government decides to raise the price of road user charges on trucks. The truckies fight back with protest all around the country. this was just one of the protest in auckland. The labour government wonder why they aren't doing to well with an election coming up later this year. This really does show how politicians can shoot themselves in the foot.
