U-Matic tape containing two silent sets of footage, transferred from color film, shot for a Boblo Island commercial or promotional film. The first segment features Bobbi the bear; Louie the lion; a woman in a sailor suit; a man with a large false mustache. a push broom, and a white suit; and a young boy in scenes around the island. The second is half of the tape appears to be b-roll shot around the park.
The footage opens with a shot of a clapboard labeled, Bob-lo, Scene 1, Take 1, Sound P.B., Ultramedia #57002, Dir: G. MacAlister, Cam: A. Costikyan, 6-4-79, Day Ext., Roll #1. Shots follow of the group is then skipping toward the camera and riding the C.P. Huntington train, the train's whistle and bell, the group on the miniature car ride, the boy eating a hot dog, close-ups of the characters, a magician performing the Zig-Zag Girl trick, the group with Kissina the seal then a dolphin trainer from the dolphin show, and the characters riding on the Log Flume.
The second half of the video begins with footage from the island's dock. The PAPOOSE IV, STE. CLAIRE, and PAPOOSE IV are shown approaching, unloading, and boarding between brief shots of people passing near the dock, the C.P. Huntington train passing the shore, and the Bob-Lo sign on the shore. Afterward are shots featuring the Sky Diver, people resting on the park's benches, and flags along the shoreline. A tour aboard the C.P. Huntington connects the next few shots, which include the train's station, the historic block house, and the Boblo Island Light lighthouse. This is followed by footage of people enjoying the island's beach and in boats along the beach's shore. The Sky Streak, Pee Wee and Lil' Charlie's Dolphin Show, the marina, the Log Flume, the picnic area, the Scrambler, and the Ferris wheel are the topics of the final minutes on the tape.
The videos are on a Maxell Professional KCA60 U-Matic tape with a blank WDIV label on its top. The tape is housed within a grey plastic U-Matic case with a WDIV label affixed to the top of the cover.
