Our Third objective is our commitment to the jungle COMMUNITIES.
Our goal is to collaborate with Natives communities to overcome economic and social challenges through a working partnership that directs resources toward sustainable projects. Special focus is given to support our kids and their educational endeavors.
Bonanza Tours is based in Cusco, Peru. The company is run by Huamani Family, all of whom started as boat drivers, chefs, and assistent tour guides in the jungle, We all came from the jungle, where we had a difficult life growing up. After our studies, Ryse created this company to give something back to his community and other local villages. Since Bonanza Tours Peru has been open, we have done many social projects to benefit people of the jungle, as well as practicing sustainable tourism. In addition, we also take good care of the boat drivers, assistant boat drivers, cooks and everyone who works for our company. We pay them above average wages, supply them with health and life insurance, and always respect the state and national laws. We help the many indigenous communities where our drivers and assistants live, especially assisting with the childrens' needs. We provide hygienic supplies, organize bringing doctors with different specialties to the jungle, and have delivered a full library and other educational necessities. We have even brought teachers to their schools.
It would be hard for us to give back to the community without the help of our clients, who trust us to take them on their journeys. We don’t just provide great services, but we also send your money to support our social projects, for the benefit comunnities and its children. By choosing and traveling with Bonanza Tours Peru, you choose to take part in the wonderful social projects that our company is creating and supporting
Our trips consist of a private overland bus which takes us through the Sacred Valley, over the Andes and into the Cloud and Rain Forests. We travel in a comfortable motorized boat along the Alto Madre de Dios and the Madre de Dios Rivers. We run our expeditions into private areas and pristine jungle in the Bonanza Ecological Reserve, in the Cultural Zone of Manu, and the Reserve Zone of Manu National Park.

After spending the night in our private lodge (Rainforest) we continue 5h by boat to Bonanza lodge deep in the jungle, visiting hot springs on the way. Then we will continue downriver to Bonanza E. R. where we will have a walk later in the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful Observation Tower up in the canopy, giving you the advantage to see macaw, toucan, and tanager. In the evening we do a night-walk to observe spiders (tarantulas), insects, frogs and snakes.
The following day we explore the primary rainforest (untouched) with a chance to see many monkey species, birds like parrots and an unbelievable variability of plants like giant trees, palms and medical plants. We sleep in a Camouflaged house besides a mammals clay lick to watch out for tapirs, deer and other animals. Manu National Park - PERU AMAZING JUNGLE
The biological diversity found in the Manu National Park surpasses that of any other place on Earth. The park is located in the provinces of Manu and Paucartambo, comprising lands on the eastern slopes of the Andes and the Peruvian Amazon.
This incredible ecological paradise succeeded establishing high biodiversity world records in butterflies and birds; in species of butterflies it has over 1200 species and more than 1,000 birds. These records were published in the journal Biota Neotropica.
