This community has helped to make Boquete a haven for expats—opening Western-style bars and restaurants, building North American style homes, and organizing festivals and events where the community can get together and socialize.

Tuesday Morning Market Boquete, Panama
Every Tuesday morning there is a market open at the community center for anyone who wants to come. I saw some cool jewelry, tasty snacks, and meet some really nice people. Sure you can go there looking to buy stuff, but really it's a social event where expats and locals get together and mingle.
While I was at the market I decided to film some people talking about their booths. Some pretty interesting characters. I wish I could have gotten in front of the camera a bit more, but it was so hectic with many people walking around setting up the tripod would have just been in the way. Could have really used a cameraman on that day.

- Boquete Tuesday Market, wonderful arts and crafts available to buy, artisan bread, indigenous products, tea, herbs & spices. Healing products, a resident Chiropractor, have your blood pressure checked, enjoy a coffee and a cake.
Some stalls are there every week, some set up on an ad-hoc basis, but there is always something for everyone.
Well with a visit, best times are between 9 am - 11 am.

It is hidden on 1,200 meters above the sea level, in green mountain highlands, only 40 miles from the border between Panama and Costa Rica, on the Caldera River. We stayed at Los Molinos and had a fantastic time. We went on the most amazing hike down a trail that lead to a beautiful waterfall and experienced first hand the powerful flow of the river below.
We also met the most amazing people and were even invited to spend the night at one of their homes/farms.

The Ultimate Day In Boquete, Panama
While traveling the world we got lucky and picked Boquete on our itinerary. After traveling for months in Central America Boquete was a pleasant surprise and one of our favorite places so far. This video is going to give you the ultimate one day of things to do when visiting Boquete, Panama. We started off in the morning by visiting the Lost Falls. This is a beautiful hike that we would say is moderate to strenuous. On the way up to the waterfalls, most is uphill. There are a total of three waterfalls and it costs $7 in total, per person. The landscape, views and different flowers along the way are nothing less than spectacular. It takes around 3 hours to complete.
When we got back into town we rented scooters which were $25 for 4 hours. This was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. We took the scooter all over Boquete. We visited coffee plantations, Bridges, other waterfalls and Tree Trek. This was probably in the top three things we've done since traveling the world. If you plan on taking a vacation and are looking for options, there is no doubt Boquete should be on your bucket list. The weather is absolutely perfect, lots of expats and the sense of community is awesome

I was in Boquete for the Tuesday market again saying hello to a few people, and checking out the small theater where I will be making a presentation about my videos in a few weeks. Thought I would make a quick vlog while I was up there riding around.

In the northern area of Panama is the town of Boquete, known for terrific hiking and nature. We left Boquete and wandered through some trails in search of a hot springs next to the river.
Pipeline Hike, Boquete Panama:
It was nice and cool in Boquete, but outside of the Panamanian town it was extremely humid and hot, so thank goodness the river was cool and we dip in there before and after the hot springs.
