A Day at Bristol Aquarium - Family Friendly Places to Visit In Bristol
If your planning a trip to Bristol and are looking for family friendly places to visit then I would highly recommend Bristol Aquarium! We had a lovely family day out at Bristol Aquarium last week and all really enjoyed it.
The aquarium isn't huge but it is a great place to visit if you have a toddler or kids who are interested in sea life. Elian really seems to love seeing different types of fish and marine animals so an aquarium is always a big hit. During this trip they were doing shark and ray talks which were really interesting and informative. They do different talks and feedings during the week so it is worth checking out their website to see what is coming up in the future.
Thank you to Bristol Aquarium for the tickets we really enjoyed our day out and will be returning in the future!

Bristol Aquarium - Bristol
Located in the heart of Bristol's City Centre on the Harbourside, Bristol Aquarium is home to a magnificent array of aquatic wildlife. At the centre of the aquarium is the enormous Coral Sea and here you'll be able to admire over 250 marine animals, including sharks, stingrays, puffer fish and more. If wrasse and gurnard is your thing, head to the botanical house and its 60,000 litre seabed feature or, step out into the Harbourside exhibit and say hello to Merlin- the aquariums' giant Pacific octopus which is the world's largest species of octopus. The Amazon display gives a glimpse of the spectacular river fish including red bellied piranhas which are most feared in fresh water!

DAY OUT IN BRISTOL
A couple of weeks ago we went exploring in Bristol for the day to visit some of the attractions and have lunch. Before we had kids Mr C and I used to live in the city but didn't ever experience any of the things there are to do for kids in the area and there is lots. We went to the aquarium, @Bristol, a quick stop at the zoo then headed up to Blaise Castle. We also stopped for lunch in The Gourmet Burger Kitchen, my favourite place to get burgers. The sun was shining and we had a really lovely day.
Thanks to Visit Bristol for inviting us to.. visit!
(we were let into the attractions free of charge)
