OUR ARGENTINA TRIP STARTS NOW! | Visiting Buenos Aires for 3 Days
Our Argentina trip starts now! The biggest travel and food series we've ever created is kicking off in this travel blog by visiting Buenos Aires for 3 days. Firstly, we highlight our flight from Toronto to Buenos Aires in the dead of winter in Canada arriving in Argentina in mid-summer - a 70 degree weather change!
Our first order of business in Buenos Aires is to grab great local food in Recoleta so we head over to one of favorite restaurants in the city Bodegon Norte to grab a meal consisting of Milanesa, salad, ravioli pasta with a bottle of Argentine wine. We then grab Argentine ice cream (helado) at Rapa Nui including dulce de leche flavour.
We start off day two with breakfast in Buenos Aires at La Biela having cafe con leche with media luna. Afterwards we check out the nicest bookstore in the city, and one of the most beautiful in the world, El Ateneo before grabbing pizza slices at Banchero. We finish the day off visiting Recoleta cemetery one of the most famous attractions in Buenos Aires.
For our last day in Buenos Aires we start off with facturas and coffee for breakfast before heading to Puerto Madero for a stroll and a ship museum. For lunch we have delicious Argentine parrilla (grilled beef) with Malbec wine.
Overall, this was our 3 days itinerary in Buenos Aires. We'll be back again soon!

OUR ARGENTINA TRIP STARTS NOW! | Visiting Buenos Aires for 3 Days:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

Is this the MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN PATAGONIA? | Visiting Los Alerces National Park in Argentina ????
In our latest travel video from Argentina we visit possibly the most beautiful places in Patagonia, Los Alerces National Park, on a day trip from Esquel, Chubut. Today we visit Los Alerces National Park where we encounter trees that are over 2600 years old!
We were visiting Esquel during low season, so there was only one daily bus with Transportes Esquel leavening in the early morning and returning in the evening. We made sure to arrive at the bus terminal 1 hour ahead of departure to make sure we could get seats on the bus since you can’t reserve tickets ahead of time and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
One of the coolest parts of the boat ride was seeing the Torrecillas Glacier. If you’re up for a serious trek, there are excursions in Los Alerces National Park that take you right to the foot of the glacier.
After cruising on the north end of Lake Menendez, we reached the Alerzal Milenario, where we disembarked and continued the rest of the excursion on foot.
The trees that we had come to see are the ‘Alerces patagónicos’ also known as lahuán. This is a type of tree that can be found in the Valdivian temperate rain forest below the higher elevations of the Andes in both Argentina and Chile. These trees can grow from sea level up to 1,500 (fifteen hundred) meters above sea level, and though they are slow-growth trees, they can reach heights of above 50 meters.
And that was our excursion to Los Alerces National Park in search of two-thousand-year-old trees! We hope you guys enjoyed this trip and we’ll see you soon with more videos from Patagonia.

10 Best Places to Visit in Argentina - Travel Video
With jaw-dropping scenery, abundance of exotic wildlife, colonial towns and cities rife with superb cuisine and vibrant culture, it is no wonder that Argentina is a popular travel destination. Located in the southern region of South America in a large, elongated shape, Argentina was sparsely inhabited by a few indigenous tribes before Spain’s colonized it in the 16th and 17th centuries. Today, the country is an independent republic featuring varied landscapes from rich plains to thick jungle, majestic mountains, pastoral steppes and impressive glaciers. An overview of the best places to visit in Argentina.
Delta del Tigre off the beaten path
A different tour of the Delta. Private boat tour. This is a tour to explore the Delta. We will stroll along some of the paths and have lunch in one of the nice restaurants of the area.

Buenos Aire's First Graffiti Bike Tour - GraffitiMundo and Biking Buenos Aires
Buenos Aire's original graffiti bike tour was a collaboration between street artist darlings, GraffitiMundo and Buenos Aire's premier bike tour company Biking Buenos Aires . NEW biking graffiti experience explores the South of the city.
WARNING! This is not a namby-pamby ride for tourists, it's strictly off the beaten track and this biking experience includes caveats not typical of our 'Premium Biking Experiences'
Experience more by clicking here:
Meet us every Sunday in the beautiful Botanical Garden of Palermo where we begin our bike tour with a thorough orientation; introducing you to the city, your bicycle and each other. In collaboration with graffitimundo (walking urban art tours), this tour takes you through the backstreets on bikes to unveil the best graffiti art in the city.
Starting in Palermo Soho, witness the colorful murals spread all over this quaint neighborhood before entering the quiet streets of Villa Crespo. After stopping several times to learn and appreciate the inspiration of local and international artists, we pass by (entering if open) the artists studio to try and meet the people behind the spray can to get a personal perspective of the celebrated Buenos Aires street art.
After zigzagging throughout inner city Buenos Aires, we find ourselves at a Palermo Hollywood bus station designated for artists to express themselves on every surrounding wall. The last stop of our Sunday ride is at Post Bar where stencil art dominates the walls at Hollywood in Cambodia. Upstairs you will find a constantly changing art studio and a grand terraza where you can purchase art and enjoy a beverage.
Our tour ends back at our meeting point in the Botanical Garden where we recapture the day and suggest some BA must do’s. Lasting approximately 3.5 hours, we follow many bike trails and stop around 8 times to take photos, drink and learn about Yerba Mate, and enjoy a fun, creative and informative tour led by expert bilingual guides.
OUR ADVENTURE IN PATAGONIA CONTINUES! Long Overnight Bus Ride From Trelew to Esquel, Argentina
Come join us as our adventure in Patagonia continues crossing from east to west as take a long overnight bus from Trelew to Esquel, Chubut, Argentina. Because our overnight bus didn't leave until the evening we arranged to keep our bags in Trelew while we headed over to Gaiman on a day-trip.
Before leaving Trelew we give you a full tour of our spacious apartment which we really enjoyed aside from the slow internet. After grabbing our bags we head to a cafe for a small snack before boarding the overnight bus.
The journey itself was quite bumpy for certain stretches and we arrived in Esquel feeling really groggy. After some coffee and breakfast we jumped in a cab and headed to our apartment in Esquel.
With a quick grocery tour and a friendly cat, which was comfortable enough to come inside, we say goodbye with more episodes from Esquel coming out soon.

Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

The Colorful CAMINITO La Boca Argentina
Caminito is the one place in Buenos Aires you MUST visit. The colourful area located in La Boca is full of vibrant life and traditional Argentinian culture.
Although because of its beauty, it attracts hundreds of tourists every day which can be a bit overwhelming, dont let that put you off.
When you are there don't stray too far off the beaten path, La Boca Argentina is one of the more sketchy neighbours in Buenos Aires.
To end the day we spent the night in San Telmo market which is foodie heaven.

Visiting PIEDRA PARADA | The most underrated thing to do in PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA?
Piedra Parada is a natural protected area that’s located about 130 kilometres east of Esquel, and it makes for a fun and easy day trip. We organized a tour through Meraki Sur in town and they came to pick us up from our accommodations the next morning. It was about a 2 and a half-hour drive to Piedra Parada during which time we bid farewell to forests and mountains, as we ventured further into the Patagonian steppe.
Gualjaina is located 90 kilometres from Esquel and was the last service area before reaching our destination. We drove another 30 kilometres from this point before we spotted Piedra Parada rising like a giant monolith in the middle of the valley.
Piedra Parada sticks out like a sore thumb in the Valley of the Chubut River. Its origins are volcanic since once upon a time, this very area would have been the caldera of an ancient mega volcano. It would have first erupted some 60 million years ago, before the Andes were even formed, so this rock right here has witnessed a whole lot. It stands over 200 meters tall and it’s an ‘it’ destination for rock climbing.
After a guided walk around Piedra Parada, we returned back to the van where they had set up a nice picnic lunch for us. There were empanadas, mini-pizzas, sandwiches, pigs in a bun, and more. It was all homemade and delicious! And really, who could complain with these views?!
We then drove across the Chubut River towards Cañon de la Buitrera, which literally translates to the Vulture’s Canyon. The walls of the canyon stand around 150 meters tall, and it was a beautiful place for a hike.
Our guide led us up to the ‘aleros’ which are small refuges in the rock, almost like caves. These would have been used by the pre-Tehuelches and Tehuelches who inhabited this area in a seasonal manner up to 5000 years ago. We also learned about how they would’ve stored their guanaco meat in the ground, under layers of salt to help preserve it. There were lots info boards with even more information, so it’s worth the hike up if you make here.
So, as we’ve already mentioned, this is a really popular rock climbing destination, and you really notice this once you enter the Vulture’s Canyon.
This place was really put on the tourist map back in 2012 when the Petzl brand, which is known for organizing rock climbing gatherings chose Piedra Parada as its destination of the year. Now, this canyon draws climbers from all over the world and we got to see them in action.
By the time we finished our hike, it was merienda time, AKA afternoon tea time! Back at the van, our driver was already waiting with tea, coffee and a selection of pastries, so we were very happy hikers. We then hopped back in the van and drove back to Esquel!
And that was our day trip to Piedra Parada! We hope you guys enjoyed following along and we’ll see you soon with more videos from Patagonia, Argentina.

Visiting PIEDRA PARADA | The most underrated thing to do in PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA?
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

Iguazu waterfalls in Argentina: The 5 minute tour
We had a couple day layover in Buenos Aries so we hopped a flight to Iguazu to check out the waterfall. We did it all in one day pretty easily, the second day would have been nice if doing the boat tour. We stayed at Cabanas Panambi, off the beaten path a bit but amazing views and very chill. This is a must see place and you can do it cheap.

16 HOUR BUS RIDE | Overnight Bus Travel from Córdoba to Mar del Plata! Argentina Travel Vlog
We're going to Mar del Plata! After spending a few weeks travelling in the province of Córdoba, it's time to move on to our next destination: the coastal city of Mar del Plata. Our main reason for coming here was to attend a popular Argentine food festival called Masticar. Our plan was to attend the last 2 days of the foodie festivities. But before we get to all the eating, let us take you on the journey there. We started the morning in the town of Villa General Belgrano, where we took a 1.5-hour bus ride to the city of Cordoba. There are two routes that get you there, but we mistakenly chose the one that goes via the dam, so that meant very windy roads that left Audrey feeling quite queasy. Then, after a few hours in Córdoba, we caught the overnight bus to Mar del Plata. It was a 16-hour journey - definitely one of the longest bus rides we've ever been on, but we had beaches and delicious food to look forward to on the other end!

16 HOUR BUS RIDE | Overnight Bus Travel from Córdoba to Mar del Plata! Argentina Travel Vlog:
