Bull Canyon Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, protecting Bull Canyon on the Chilcotin River, which is 7 km below the confluence of the Chilko River with the Chilcotin. The canyon and park are located just west of the community of Alexis Creek. Bull Canyon is part of a large volcanic plateau called the Chilcotin Group. The park is c.343 ha. in size and lies on the north side of the river.

Wildfire 42324 SE of 70 Mile House now 90% contained.

Correction: narration, at time 07:30, one of the smaller Fraser Lake area fires was perimeter mapped by NRC since June 20, 2018. G40639 10 kms SE of Francois Lake. This was out/under control but has merged into the larger complex fire.

Modified Response: When a wildfire does not threaten public safety, property or other values, a wildfire may (as a naturally occurring event) be deemed beneficial and therefore warrant a modified response, with crews monitoring and managing a fire, rather than fighting it.
