An Uber hack from the airport as well as some other fun things to do while you are visiting Baja California. *One thing I did forget to mention is that there is a public bus that you can also take for very little money to get around but it makes A LOT of stops and doesn't always have air conditioning.

Los Cabos is a region in Baja California Sur, Mexico that is home to some really awesome biodiversity. There's a lot of wildlife to see in Los Cabos. One of the coolest experiences I had while staying in Cabo San Lucas was swimming with whale sharks. Whale sharks are beautiful and it's amazing to be able to swim with whale sharks in the wild. I'm glad I got to do this. Don't miss out on this experience in Los Cabos! You can also ride Camels in Mexico (that's right), by going to Wild Canyon Adventure Park and taking part in the Camel Quest excursion.
I also got to ride a RZR for the first time ever thanks to Cactus ATV Tours! It was awesome to ride the ATV through the sand dunes and by the pacific coast line. We even got to see a seal!
Lastly, relax with a sunset tour. Los Cabos is home to some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Catch the SunRider sunset dinner tour for some food, music, drinks, and a beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean. You might even catch a glimpse of a whale!

Wild Canyon is an adventure theme park in the heart of Cabo. Located at only 20 minutes away from Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, it’s the closest tours and attractions in the area. Wild Canyon is the home of the Los Cabos Canyon Bridge, the longest simple hang wooden bridge in the world. This landmark of Los Cabos is 1082 feet long and 300 feet high. You can find the park at the top of El Tule Canyon, made of over 100 hectares of private land; it plays a significant role in Cabo´s ecosystem. Between the white marble and granite walls, lays an oasis that provides water to the desert all year round. At the canyon’s floor, you can find lush vegetation and water streams that summons all type of wildlife. The park facilities provide a home base to start activities for all family members; most activities can be done solo or in tandem. From zip-lines, camel rides, and an animal sanctuary for the young, to all-terrain vehicles, bungee and a giant swing for the adrenaline seekers; you are sure to find the ride of your life!
Wild Canyon UTV Tour in Cabo San Lucas
A short video of our UTV tour at Wild Canyon in Los Cabos Mexico. The video was shot using a helmet mounted GoPro. The tour was comprised of 5 different areas: Ocean view, Brook, Beach, Canyon, and Mountain. The tour also crosses the Los Cabos Canyon Bridge, which is the world longeest wooden pedestrian and ATV hanging bridge. It is 1,082.67 feet long, 6.56 feet wide and it stands at 164.04 feet above ground in its lowest point.

This is our taxi ride in mid-December 2011 from the airport of Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico down towards the RIU Palace resort in Cabo San Lucas. Our ride was in a pretty new and nice Chevrolet Suburban. It was expensive but we were tired and it was worth it to avoid a bunch of intermediate stops. The highway used for the trip is Mexico 1, a federal Mexico highway.
UTV Tour in Los Cabos, Mexico - Wild Canyon Adventures POV
We had fun blasting around in Baja in a UTV. Mrs The Bike Guy and I just got back from a cruise through the Panama Canal on the Carnival Splendor. One of the ports was Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where we did a UTV excursion. I shot this POV video using a GoPro Hero 4 Silver using a chin mount on a full face helmet. I was really happy with the angle provided by the chin mount. The UTV was a Polaris RZR XP 900 H.O. Jagged X.
A UTV is sort of like an ATV, except it's bigger, has side by side seating, and usually has seatbelts and a roll cage.

Cabo San Lucas Excursion - Lovers Beach and Cabo Arch $15
While cruising the Mexican Riviera on the Carnival Splendor we visited the port of call Cabo San Lucas Mexico. We decided to do our own shore excursion tour rather than booking something on the ship. After tendering into Cabo we spoke to the locals and booked a glass bottom boat tour for $15 dollars per person. This excursion included a tour of the Arch of Cabo, Divorce Beach, Sea Lions, Caves, Pelican Beach, Cliff Jumping and Scuba Diving / Snorkeling areas. We were also dropped off at Lovers Beach for a couple of hours and then picked up by our water taxi glass bottom boat.
Cabo San Lucas ( Cabo San Lucas Baja California Sur Mexico ) is full of history. If you find yourself saying what to do in Cabo San Lucas? There are many hotels, beaches ( Lovers Beach / Medano Beach) bars, restaurant and shopping that you can visit.
