Caiman Ecological Refuge is located on a 53 thousand hectare ranch adjoining the small town of Miranda, in the Pantanal wetland, situated in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Caiman Ecological Refuge is located on a 53 thousand hectare ranch adjoining the small town of Miranda, in the Pantanal wetland, situated in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. Caiman Ecological Refuge has three major activities in this magnificent setting: CAIMAN LODGE, NATURE CONSERVATION PROGRAM and CAIMAN RANCH.
Since 2010, the Caiman Ecological Refuge offers visitors a new way to enjoy the Pantanal, combining the privacy and exclusivity of a home with the comfort and convenience of a hotel.

Baby Jaguar plays with Camera Trap - Projeto Onçafari
A remarkable video constructed out of the footage of two camera traps that were placed around the freshly killed carcass of a cow killed by a large female jaguar. Her single cub joins her to feed and they both end up stealing the camera traps and playing with them. Filmed by Projeto Onçafari and edited by Adam Bannister
