City of Cape Town restoring its oldest asset
The city of Cape Town is currently fine tuning and restoring one of its finest and oldest asset.
More than a 100 years old - the organ is one of the city's heritage asset that will undergo restoration.
The work on the organ which is in the city hall, forms part of the 15-million rand project which will look at preserving priority and historical spaces.

Cape Town was the starting city of the tour From Cape Town to Victoria Falls. We did this tour by truck, organized by Sawadee Reizen.
The first day of the tour we stayed in Cape Town where we did the Township Cape Town Tour. The township tour brougt us first through Bo Kaap, the High Court, the City Hall, the Grand Parade and the Muir Street Mosque. After that we visited several townships: Langa, Gugulethu and Bonteheuwel. Ofcourse we visited the Waterfront and the Cape Town Stadium as well.

South African Rugby team - Trophy Tour in Cape Town
Booming Century City's new conference centre [construction] [cape town]
Century City is booming with new hospitality, residential and commercial developments totalling more than R4,3 billion recently completed, under construction or in the pipeline.
The conference centre, which is being built to meet burgeoning demand for conferencing in the Century City precinct and to fill a gap in the market, will be able to accommodate up to 900 delegates in cinema style seating and will have a total capacity of 1900 over 20 different venues including 12 meeting rooms and a business lounge.
The project, designed by Vivid Architects, also comprises a 125 bedroom business hotel, a seven storey office block with ground floor showrooms and retail and some residential apartments. The buildings will be built around a public square and over a super basement parking garage.
The project is due for completion by the end of 2015 with the first conferences been hosted in February 2016.

The Mother City has delivered the mother of all celebrations to welcome the World Cup winning Springboks in town. Tens of thousands gathered in the CBD to get a glimpse of the Webb Ellis trophy, and of course, their rugby heroes. When the Boks landed in Cape Town Sunday night without captain Siya Kolisi, there was huge disappointment. But on Monday, the people's captain led the victory parade.
