Puerto Rico 360° | Carmelita PR
This is just a simple flight around video footage from PR, I started this series which will encompass a few locations from PR taken from the sky. I will have many different locations or as many as I can possibly get on video.
For this video I used the WLToys V303 with XIAOMI YI camera
Thanks for watching
P.S.
I don't like flying in residential areas this was just a test flight that is why I cut it short. These series of videos will mostly take place in less populated areas and such...

I love sharing my culture and sharing the stories of artists.
Come explore with me as we learn more about:
CULTURE, ART, LITERATURE, FOOD & MUSIC!
What a blessing. Today we have a special treat as we visit one of my favorite artist's gallery, the Galeria Botello in Old San Juan Puerto Rico and get a personal tour of the Botello family private collection and a special look of the Botello 350 year old home. Our special guide is non other than Juan Botello, son of the great Angel Botello Barros.
About the artist:
Ángel Botello-Barros
Born in Galicia, Spain, 1913 - Died in Puerto Rico 1986
Spanish-Puerto Rican painter, sculptor and graphic artist. He was dubbed The Caribbean Gauguin for his use of bold colors and depictions of island life. Botello is considered one of the greatest Latin American post-modern artists and recognition and demand for his artwork continues to grow today, fetching unprecedented auction prices.
Ángel Botello never attached to any particular artistic school or movement and was a protean artist: he developed his own artistic style. Botello was a versatile and many-sided artist who worked in all artistic media at his reach: oil paintings, drawing, printmaking, bronze sculptures, wood carving, photography and mosaics.
Painter, print maker and sculptor. Botello first studied in 1930 under François Maurice Roganeaux at the Êcole des Beaux Arts in Bordeaux, France. In 1935 he returned to Spain to study at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid. The Spanish Civil War interrupted his education, and in 1940 he moved to the Dominican Republic and later Haiti. After his arriving to Haiti, Botello met Christiane Auguste, who became his wife and artistic manager. After his marriage, Botello changed his artistic plans to move to Mexico to meet with the greatest Mexican artist Diego Rivera and stayed in Haiti. Botello became increasingly recognized and critically acclaimed. His Haitian landscapes and figure studies are considered to be some of his best works. In Haiti, Botello developed his artistic career of woodworking.
For ten years, the Botello family lived in Haiti until 1953 when they moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they would reside permanently. By this time, he already had gained international recognition in the world of plastic arts.
In 1953 he came to Puerto Rico and opened Las Antillas Gallery (later Botello Gallery), one of the first art galleries on the island. From that time on he devoted himself entirely to his artistic work, and although he often worked in landscape and still life, he made the portrayal of the human figure, especially children, the main subject of his work. His pictorial language is simple, based on geometric simplification of the figures and large areas of strongly outlined flat color.
Muchas Gracias Juan por su linda atención.
Thank you Juan for your kindness and for sharing your families history with us.
