The Marlin fishing in July and August is some of the best in the world! Last year they caught 746 Blue Marlin on the first week of the annual tournament. The Marlin fishing is all catch and release. There is also great Wahoo, King Fish, Mahi Mahi and Tuna fishing. I caught 2 big Mahi last week. Royal Princess 2018 - Ep. 12 Snorkelling in St Lucia - January 23, 2018
January 23, 2018 -
We took an island tour that stopped at some of the landmarks and natural highlights of the island. The morning began with a land tour with stops at a banana and cocoa plantations, a dormant volcano, a fishing village, and ended with a catamaran ride back from Soufriere to Castries, with a passing view of the Pitons, the volcanic spires that dominate the seaview.
The sea tour of the west coast began under a squally overcast sky. But it passed, and the sun appeared in time for a nice sail. The tour included a beach stop south of Marigot Bay, for some swimming and snorkelling. While the coral and marine life weren't abundant, it was still an enjoyable experience to be underwater and see marine life go by.

Dr. Zack Jud 06/11/14 Lionfish in Florida: The New Normal?
Dr. Zack Jud is a marine ecologist whose research focuses on human disturbance in coastal ecosystems. Much of his research has been carried out on the Indian River Lagoon and its tributaries. In 2010, Zack discovered the first estuarine invasion by lionfish in the Western Hemisphere. The venom-spined predators from the Indo-Pacific have taken up an unwelcome residence throughout the Western Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. Ever-growing populations of lionfish pose a potential risk to our native ecosystems. Scientific research into the invasion has expanded at a rapid pace, much of which has been aimed at identifying how lionfish initially got into our waters, why they have been so successful here, what effect they are having on our native species and what, if anything, can be done to stem their spread. Join us as we address these questions and more, debunking myths and discussing the most up-to-date research regarding the lionfish invasion.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
A BioBlitz, also written without capitals as bioblitz, is an intense period of biological surveying in an attempt to record all the living species within a designated area. Groups of scientists, naturalists and volunteers conduct an intensive field study over a continuous time period (e.g., usually 24 hours). There is a public component to many BioBlitzes, with the goal of getting the public interested in biodiversity. To encourage more public participation, these BioBlitzes are often held in urban parks or nature reserves close to cities.
