Christchurch - January 2018
Now seven years since the earthquake, the last 12 months has seen a significant amount of change in the city's landscape. There are now more bars and restaurants in the central city than before the earthquake, major retail chains have moved into the new Crossing complex and Cashel Street mall. Office space is slowly filling back up, but as the number of hotel beds grows with the milestone Crown Plaza opening, the increased number of tourists are notably visible - so much so, the Tramways have had to put on the newly restored R1888 tram to meet demand.
This is my fifth film, and it's main purpose is to show what's new since last year, blended in with what's great about Christchurch.
