Banbury Town - A Hive of Activity
Thousands of shoppers and visitors packed Banbury’s old town streets on Saturday (7th May) for a spring party that had food, drink, music and entertainment for all tastes.
Organised by Banbury Town Council, the event showcased the independent stores, pubs and restaurants in some of the streets that were the town’s main shopping area before the Castle Quay Centre and out-of-town retail parks.

A family-run bed and breakfast situated a 15-minute walk from the centre of Banbury, Ashlea has free Wi-Fi throughout, thoughtfully decorated bedrooms and an inviting breakfast menu.
Each room comes with a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. They also have a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels and DVD player, and an electric fan for those warmer days.
