Being Human Festival: Graveyard Voices - Cathays Cemetery
Through a fruitful partnership with Cardiff City Council, the University of South Wales (USW) has produced a range of public performance works across the city. Working closely with the Council’s Cemeteries and Bereavement Services, USW has brought ‘history to life’ with performers creating short scenes relating to the fascinating stories of the people buried in the Cemetery.
The free event consolidates popular heritage walks with live performances that re-create the sounds and stories of the cemetery, its rich history and community relevance.
Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts & Humanities Research Council, the British Academy and the Wellcome Trust, the Being Human festival is the first and only national festival of the humanities in the UK. The festival demonstrates the breadth, diversity and vitality of the humanities, their accessibility and relevance to people’s lives, and that research in the humanities is vital for the cultural, intellectual, political and social life of the UK and globally.
The festival attracted the participation of more than 60 universities and independent research organisations. These institutions, along with more than 100 cultural and community partners, organised 163 events across the UK.

“Cardiff National Museum Ghost Hunt”
The First Ever Investigation of Cardiff Museum Ghost Hunt
31st October 2015 8pm - 3am
Ticket Price; £59.00 “ Cardiff Museum Ghost Hunt” Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NP
What to Expect: The night commences at 8pm with a Health and Safety followed by a paranormal presentation. DeadLive Team will escort you around the venue with lights on. Following this the lights will be turned off and the night will continue with smaller group vigils and team work using a range of paranormal equipment including dowsing rods, K2 meters, and table tipping for those who want to participate.
On the Cardiff Museum Ghost Hunt it is advisable to wear layered clothing as temperatures can get very cold on investigations and we recommend flat shoes with non-slip soles, as you may well be walking around in the dark and on staircases with no lighting. Don’t forget your torch as the event does take place in rooms that can be dark. You are welcome to bring cameras and personal paranormal investigation equipment.
The Cardiff Museum Ghost Hunt hub offers a place to take a break, sit, have a tea/coffee (provided) catch up with other group members and toilets are to hand. You are welcome to bring your own snacks. Paranormal activity at events can never be guaranteed. However, the more positive energy we have between the groups the better it will be to encourage a connection with the spirits of the venue. Please note alcohol is not permitted during the investigation.

Another Birmingham SUN GHOST!
Filmed & photographed in Birmingham on the 9th September 2014.
Remember when ITV Central News called this a Sun Ghost?
...They actually removed all the public comments that consisted of the truth of the matter.
...I know this for a fact because I was one of the posters. One of many.
The Official title of these are Sundogs, Parhelia or Mock Suns and the Official story of their formation is due to hexagonal shaped ice cystals within Cirrus clouds.
There is one problem with the story. There were no clouds, cirrus or otherwise. There was only the pollutants that aircraft had left behind.
I do not consent.
