Hola amigos , as i returned from Honduras and on way back to Germany , i managed to enjoy a few days in beautiful Grand Cayman.
Here is one of the highlights of that short but enjoyable visit.

Good morning from the beautiful Cayman Islands! We start off by taking a look at what ships are tendered with us on this bright and sunny morning in Grand Cayman!
We both share a light breakfast on the ship, at the buffet on the top deck. We really liked having the options of going to one of two buffets, something that is unique to the MSC Seaside!
We then head down to get our tender sticker and shortly after are called to board the tender boat! I also explain how that whole process works just in case you have never been to a tender port before.
It's not too long before we're off on a catamaran sailing through the crystal blue waters of the Cayman Islands over to Stingray City! What a truly outstanding time we had playing with all the rays in the clear blue water!
Then it was a short trip over to the Barrier Reef where we had the best snorkeling experience EVER on an island! The water was crystal clear and you can see all of the marine life perfectly!

Stingray Encounter & Turtle Swim Excursion at Cayman Islands
Video of our experience visiting the Cayman Islands. In this encounter we visited the famous Grand Cayman Island Turle Centre; where we got to see, touch, and swim with some cool turtles. Afterwards we took a 30 minute ferry ride to the famous and beautiful Cayman Island sand bar which is known as Stingray city. Here we got to hand out with a couple cool Stingrays and even feed them.

A private excursion during our quick stay in the Cayman Islands aboard the Carnival Paradise (Carnival Cruise Lines).
We had the best guide (Tyrone) that was very patient with us (first time riders) and he was willing to make sure to get photos of us.
Stingray City was unbelievably amazing! There were so many stingrays on the sandbar! Tyrone fed them and they kept coming! The water was crystal blue and so beautiful!

So much fun today in Grand Cayman! Thanks again to the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism for hosting us on this amazing adventure so we can share everything about this incredible place.

We started the day by taking a horseback ride on the beach with Spirit of the West. They picked us up at our hotel and drove us to a beautiful stretch of the coast that allowed horses. We then took an hour plus ride along the beach.
Our next activity was with Red Sail Sports on a catamaran that took us to Stingray City. Stingray City is a sandbar where many stingrays come daily to interact with people. It is truly amazing. They were not afraid of us at all and loved getting close to us.
We also had some time to do some snorkeling at a nearby reef. The catamaran sailed the majority of the way back to the dock which made for such a peaceful ride.
Not to be left out was dinner at Catch in Morgan's Harbor. The setting here was great. We were seated on the deck overlooking the harbor as the sun was setting. The food was incredible too!

This Go Pro Hero 4 excursion video is our vacation video at Stingray City on Grand Cayman Island. We were on a cruise through Royal Caribbean on the Navigator of the Seas. It was tendered in George Town where a short ride to the catamaran dock and we cruise about 20 minutes to stingray city.
We did the stingray city excursion in April of this year (2016) with a group of 6. It included my girlfriend and I, along with her and my parents.
Overall, stingray city and coral gardens is a must see, even if it is 1 time, especially if you looking for an excursion while tendered from a cruise ship. Our ship, The Navigator of the Seas owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, arrived at the dock and we found the tour right inside the cruise port.

Our Carnival Glory Cruise vacation was so much fun, we booked an excursion from a private company and had an awesome time. We just walked outside the port to the waiting area to the left, checked in and wait to board the bus to out boat. It was cheaper than booking on ship.

Stingray City Amazing Grand Cayman Excursion
The best Grand Cayman excursion for cruise or land travelers is Stingray City. Diving of course is world famous in the Caymans but for most a simple snorkel or water adventure will do. Disney, Carnival, Royal Caribbean are just a host of cruise lines that visit Grand Cayman and offer excursions to this popular attraction and this video proves why it tops the lists for a must see.
We were on the island and drove to Safe Haven harbor to pick up our tour. Give yourself plenty of time to get there in the morning as traffic on the island is busy at rush hour. From there we did a snorkel stop, Stingray City, and starfish point. All were great experiences, but Stingray City was amazing.
This video was filmed in the beautiful clear waters of Grand Cayman with a GoPro 5. We remain totally impressed with this camera and its performance in 4K.
