Castor Wedding at Convent Park with Rev Martinez Spanish
Nicole & Paul
Nicole and Paul brought us out to Los Angeles to film their elopement. It was an awesome day and a unique experience. We started with the couple as they went on their morning run, both Nicole and Paul are world class endurance athletes, and they wanted their wedding day to remain as normal as it could be. I then went with Paul and their good friend Doniree, who served as the officiant, as they picked up Nicole's bouquet while Emily stayed with Nicole back at their apartment while she made lunch. After lunch Paul retired to his den and stayed sequestered while Nicole began her preparations out in the living area. After they were both dressed Paul and Doniree headed to Tree People Park in Beverly Hills to get set up for the first look. Nicole drove herself to the park and found her way to the beautiful overlook where Paul (and our cameras) was waiting. The ceremony took place on a beautiful spot over looking the valley on an absolutely stunning day in Southern California. The private ceremony included just Nicole Paul and Doniree, while me, Emily, Megan from Hello Gorgeous Photography and the occasional passerby peeked in on their moment. After the ceremony Nicole and Paul invited us to a Vegan meal at one of their favorite Venice Beach restaurants. It was an absolutely perfect day and we are honored to be a part of it, and thrilled to have made two new friends!

About Gruene Outpost River Lodge: The Gruene Outpost Lodge is a family owned and managed home away from home on the banks of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas. We acquired the Outpost a little over three years ago and we’ve been workin’ to make improvements to this 30-year old diamond in the rough ever since we got here. So, if you’re lookin’ for a place where you can let your hair down, drink a cold beverage and BBQ by the river, the Outpost is your kind of place. You can even build a campfire outside your room under a canopy of age-old pecan and black oak trees.
