Renowned Wedding Venue Chateau Vaudreuil Closed Due To Floods in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec

Chateau Vaudreuil, one of Montreal’s renowned and favorite locations for weddings is affected by the Floods currently experienced due to accumulation of melting snow and rains.

Hopefully the damage will not be too extensive as this is one of my favorite locations to decorate. Presently looks like the water has come up to the tennis courts and the street leading into Chateau Vaudreuil.

Mayor Guy Pilon diclares state of emergency in the Vaudreuil-Dorion region for 48 hours.

Chateau Vaudreuil also announces closure of the hotel as they cannot guarantee the safety of their guests and staff due to the floods that have affected this property

Two options to get into Montreal from Vaudreuil-Dorion:
1: use highway 30, tolls will be waived
2: the highway 40 right besides Château Vaudreuil is still open but down to 2 lanes in each direction

1 -The Galipeau bridge continues to be closed to traffic in both directions and the Ile-aux-Tortes is reduced by 1 lane on each side. UPDATE: They are hoping to have all 6 lanes of the Ile-aux-Tortes open for tomorrow morning!

2 - Traffic is going to be a real challenge tomorrow and for the rest of the week. Plan out an alternate route and please be patient.

3 - The EXO trains will be available FREE of charge while our community tackles 2019 flood and there are NO TOLLS on the 30 for the rest of this week as well.

~ Vidéo de mon parcours lors du CSO du 18 Juin avec Quebec de Peyrat (Quater-Back) en Poney 3. Cela faisait environ 3 ans que je n'avais pas monté ce poney et j'avoue avoir été inquiète de ma capacité à m'adapter à lui :/ Au final il a été top, très gentil et plutôt motivé ! Quater n'est pas réputé pour sa vitesse mais on prend toutes les options en tournant (trop) court. On finit avec un temps de 25.99s ce qui nous classe 3èmes sur 11, et pas si loin du premier ^^ L'année de concours en cso est terminée pour moi :) Je suis très fière de ce podium (que je n'espérais pas du tout) !
