Chris LeDoux Memorial Park, Kaycee Wyoming!
I remember way back in I think was 1991, As I was driving longhaul (semi) with produce heading from California to back home to Wisconsin. It was late one evening during the Cheyenne Frontiers Day Rodeo. Chris was talking live on air with a radio DJ. I was rolling along on hwy18/20 between I-25 & Lusk WY. Chris was telling us about his 1st time that he heard his name on Garth Brooks Much too young song. If I recall correctly, Chris mentioned that he was on I-25 real late one evening heading towards home near Kaycee. I believe that he was between Douglas & Casper WY. He said that he perked right up when he heard his name in the song on the radio! I sure hope & or wish that someday we may be able to find that audio clip if it was archived! Listening to Chris & the DJ live at the rodeo was realy nice to hear! It sure made my evening go by much nicer as they chatted for quite a while! From what I understand, That gave Chris a much needed boost to gain much well deserved recognition for his love of music making! ,.......PS: If I ever cross paths with Garth,....Dinner's on me! *wink*

True West: An Old-School American Ranch Rodeo (Kaycee, Wyoming)
The American West has big, glitzy rodeos, awash in stadium lighting and a sea of ads. But there are smaller affairs, too, called ranch rodeos. These community events are much closer to the original Western spring roundups, where ranch-hands would socialize and compete, staking bets on who among them would prove the best roper or horse-breaker. Most of the ranch rodeo competitions are for teams, rather than individuals, and it's more about skills than showmanship. Filmed in Kaycee, Wyoming.

Dear Mr. President Obama by John Wayne the Cowhauler
Gather Around America:
I just wanted to send my condolences to the families of our service men and women, whom have lost their love ones, and the injured men and women of the service, who have gave so much for Americans to have rights and freedom of speech. And pay my respect to the families of the victims, who lost their lives in the bombing of The U.S. Embassy on 9/11/12. And a big ol THANK YOU, to the men and women who are still protecting us. GOD BLESS YA'LL AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Dear President Obama,
I just wanted to let you and your administration know how a down to earth (dte) person feels about the latest cowardly act the terrorist did on 9/11/12, on the U.S. Embassy and the people of America. I speak for so many DTE folks , that are tired of your comments, and all of the afraid tactics of offending the terrorist, or anyone else, when y'all talk about the bombings. First of all, after the attacks on 9/11/12, to hear you and your staff apologize so many times to the muslim world and the terrorist for the bombings on The US Embassy (that killed four Americans), and blame a movie for the attack, is just downright a political statement and not the way many DTE folks believe in this GREAT NATION.
President Obama, you and your staff along with the media have given the film producers more publicity, then the producers could have ever dreamed of, and made the movie famous. So let's all grow up and lay the blame where it belongs -- on THE TERRORIST. Mr. President, to hear you criticize Mr. Romney for making a STRONG and BOLD statement to the terrorist, and the other cowardly people in the middle east, that would do cowardly acts and then to tell the media and the rest of the world Mr. Romney is a shoot first and ask questions later type of guy. Well maybe it's time to get back to The Cowboy Swag and bring out the JOHN WAYNE in all of us. And go over there and take care of the problem and make a strong statement (like JOHN WAYNE did so many times and deal with the consequences when they occur). If you're worried about taking innocent lives, don't loose no sleep over it, because it don't bother the terrorist to take innocent lives (who knows, you make kill a few future terrorists).
Mr. President to hear you and your staff keep apologizing for the movie, and to spend money on air time in the middle east, apologizing is not what America is about. The blame lies with the terrorist!! When I grew up in small town America, I was taught to apologize for something that was my fault. Maybe it's time to let the world know that THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA will not tolerate these kinds and any other cowardly acts. We cannot help the people in the middle east, if they can't try to better their selves. As I'm writing this, The Fort Hood terrorist, that gave us a powerful wake-up call, is making a fool out of our justice system and costing the taxpayers more money, by keep delaying his trail for stupid acts. Maybe it's time to bring out John Wayne and the rest of the cowboys in us, and let the rest of the world know we all got a lil Cowboy Swag in our hearts and pride. I listen to the ceremony of the return of the victims of the U.S. Embassy bombing and hear Secretary Clinton blame the film for the violent acts, so early in her speech. I thought it was a ceremony to pay respect to the families of the victims, not to make a news conference out of it.
Mr. President, when I was taught in school, the government was run by the people and for the people (not for the party democrat or republican). Seems to me that nobody in the government wants to accept the responsibility or lack of, for their actions and just keep beating around the bush. Let's get back to old school and call an apple, an apple; a spade, a spade; and a TERRORIST A TERRORIST. How many times have the terrorist burned OL GLORY, and took innocent lives and made so many death threats to Americans. Do we go out and do cowardly acts toward them? No cause we would be charged with a hate crime! What happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave, and the American freedom, and our rights? I speak for myself and my family to have to see the President of The United States of America, have to bow down and buy airtime and apologize to the middle east for the movie, and that the government had nothing to do with it.
Mr. President, maybe its time for you to listen to America, Ask me why I love her by John Wayne, and also Freedom Aint Free by Chris LeDoux. If that don't give you goose bumps and give you the Cowboy Swag, than it's time to wake up AMERICA. God Bless America, God Bless John Wayne and God Bless Chris LeDoux. Thank you, John Wayne the Cowhauler
