2.8 Hours Later Asylum - Liverpool
I took part in this years Sling Shot production Zombie game 2.8 Hours Later Asylum.
Set in modern britain in a politically apocalyptic themed story line. You have to navigate around several parts of the city centre listening out for clues & co-ordinates, avoiding super fast and very real like zombie volunteers.
The orange zombie at the end of this film was not only the fastest but the scariest too. I highly recommend this to any type of zombie fan as a player or a zombie volunteer.
As a single player with no team I managed to survive but I did go down hard and hurt my elbow & knee right at the end in zone 10.
A good night out to say the least.

The Jacksons Remember Michael at UK Concert

DEWSBURY HOSPITAL MID-YORKSHIRE NHS HOSPITAL TRUST ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY A&E UNSANITARY.
via YouTube Capture Friday 18th December 2015.
Dewsbury A&E department, the Casualty, the Accident and Emergency Department of Dewsbury District & General Hospital, is part of the Mid-Yorks Hospitals NHS Trust.
I was admitted after being directed there via the 111 service here in the UK, and although it was against my better judgement, I had little choice but to comply, arriving there 2.47am Friday 6th November 2015. IE, Guy Fawkes or Bonfire Night.
I went in with toothache and of course, my underlying health condition.
I came out with two ibuprofen and a cup of water inside me.
I later learned that it was the most likely place, I picked up the Gastroenteritis that plagued me thereafter, for more than a month.
The diagnosis of what I had is not in doubt - the dehydration was so serious, I had the freezing-cold hands and feet phenomena too, so it was not a trivial dose. If there is such a thing.
The report on it went to at least 10 different senior managers, and even the Chairman of the Health Trust, under separate cover. The response so far, is two Matrons calling back by telephone.
A major report by Parliamentary Committee finds the NHS treatment of investigations and complaints badly falls short of what is required. A new body - IPSIS I believe - is to be functioning as of Spring next year, 2016. This will give badly-needed independence to the investigation procedures.
The Trust is not very concerned about this incident. Maybe even complacent. One bout of GE or Gastro or Stomach Flu, and they would feel very differently about it.
The question of course, is how can someone be sure the bugs were contracted at A&E? Well, if everything else is a constant (like we have schoolchildren, but we always did, like I didn't travel by bus or expose myself to bugs extraordinarily some other way and so on).
By the timeline, A&E is bang-on for giving me this infection. Plus, although I would not personally go to A&E with stomach cramps/diarrhoea etc, apparently it is very common for other people to do so.
The only thing medically apart from hygiene I would level at the A&E (isn't that enough?) is that I ought to have been supplied with antibiotics of a different sort to that issued by the Dentist, that had not worked. In retrospect, this was quite a failing.
So, when the consultant told me he couldn't do much else, this was untrue. He could have relieved my pain almost immediately (within hours) by issuing me with antibiotics of a different sort. Metronidazole works well in the absence of oxygen, there, now they know. The Consultant had all the information needed to make that assessment, and help me greatly. Except of course, I would have vomited it all up.
So, I level an accusation not only that the general slack manner of conducting their daily clinical care is damaging to the health of staff and patients, but also that medically, they failed to come to the logical and straightforward conclusion regards dispensing of medicines. Of course, they may have an excuse for this, but any underlying issue is for them to resolve. A&E was not created yesterday, and I would not be the first person to arrive at Casualty with a problem needing antibiotics to assist with it.
Lastly, I would leave the reader/viewer with this thought: I had no clue as to what was wrong with me when I started fever and queasiness within hours. I thought it was the antibiotics having some reaction with my normal medicines or just in general. It took days - until Remembrance Sunday in fact - for me to twig that A&E was filthy, germ-ridden and run by slack people who maybe shouldn't be working in the NHS at all.
It was an epiphany, a revelation, and a relief. It was a weekend, and there was really nowhere to call, nowhere to go - I had already pressed the A&E button, gone to Casualty, the Emergency option, gone 'nuclear' as it were, I was on my own.
Not something I will forgive. The rest of the hospital - our children were borne there - I have no quarrel with. The A&E at Dewsbury District & General Hospital is a liability.
Shut the place. I have to now consider taking anyone I know needs A&E, to miles away maybe Pinderfields, if this Mid-Yorks NHS Hospitals Trust is hell-bent on denying liability and covering and deflecting what is a perfectly obvious problem to anyone who has experienced it.
It could have been Ebola, anything. They may think Gastroenteritis is so-what, but the principle of contagion is not, and the effect on an individual is extremely stressful, worrying, damaging, and could be passed onto their family.
For this, I call for Dewsbury Accident & Emergency to be closed. It's a germ-hole and it's not worth the service it offers, for the risk it imposes on an unsuspecting public.
First do no Harm. The golden rule of helping anybody.

Not so much a party as more like an intimate private party.
Even though Michael was not there he was in spirit they paid homage to him in some accompanying videos.
A lot of the old energy was there in some of the routines, it has to be said Marlon was often pulling some moves and leading the show.
