This guesthouse is in Rhôs-on-Sea, a 5-minute drive from the picturesque beaches of Colwyn Bay. A short walk from the Irish Sea, it offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
The light and airy dining room is split into two areas. Seating is available around the fireplace, and there is a more spacious area where guests can enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast.

Gathering Razor Clams on Colwyn Bay Beach
This video makes gathering Razor Clams on Colwyn Bay Beach look quite easy. However it's not as easy as it looks. First you need a spring tide, well, the very low tide that comes with a high spring tide. You also have to get there before the light fades, as the neap tides are around 18.00 hr in Colwyn Bay which coincides with sunset in the relevant months.
I usually make an annual excursion down to the low tide mark and I have not been successful for the last two years - 2013, and 2014. However this year there was an abundance of clams. Indeed by the end they were almost jumping out of the sand and into my bag!
